Hey guys!
Long story short, I came to visit my fiance (Now husband!!! ) in September, Canada started with covid lockdowns again so I decided to stay longer, We decided to get married (Yay! Married on January 22nd) while we were still waiting on our NOA2 from our k1 which we filed back in April of 2021, myself being from Canada, and the long wait of the approval of NOA2 which still hasn't come had us worried our process won't be approved until 2023 at the least as Montreal is taking forever to conduct interviews.
Decided the time separated was too hard on us, and well, here we are.
I am trying to find all the applications needed but myself being tech inept is proving to be a bit complicated for myself to find on this website.
I am gathering we need to file I-130 and I-485 concurrently together. As well as I-864.
Do we need to send a cheque for each the I-130 and I-485? Or is it just the AOS which needs to be paid for?
If both need to be paid for can they both be put on one cheque or two separate cheques?
Also, since I was planning on returning to Canada and plans changed, I still have my entire life there! I am going to be selling my vehicle, but I am wondering how I go about having my items sent over. I will be shipping some of my own furniture as his furniture is bachelor tier (old hand-me-down sort of stuff haha), which sort of paperwork would I need? Would the receipt of the AOS be good enough or would I have to wait until I get my green card?
Any other information would be great guys, thank you!
