US Immigration from Canada

Hello, soon to be K1 status in the U.S. from Canada and we are trying to plan out the best course of action for: marriage, SSN, and AOS. We would like to get married and then apply for my SSN before applying for AOS. What we've been seeing is more commonly SSN before marriage. Is it possible to get married and apply for an SSN before AOS? Or does your status change slightly upon marriage so that you now have to wait for SSN through i-765? The way I understand it is that your K1 status remains even after marriage until you apply for AOS, and so I should be able to apply for an SSN as K1, even after marriage. BUT I have been wrong before about this confusing immigration process. Thanks in advance!

I am Canadian and just crossed the land border to the USA for a quick visit. Seems like I-94 did not update to show this trip but showing my last trip. Should I be concerned?

My wife is a dual US/CAN citizen, and I'm CAN. Both living in Canada. We've been married for 10 years and have two kids together, 3 and 7. I submitted: mortgage statement showing both our names, joint account statement, our marriage license, and the long form birth certificates for both kids. Given the 10 years of marriage, kids and finances, is there anything else required to "strengthen" the application so to speak? Vacation photos, etc?

Got email to submit last 15 years History : 14th January 2022

Sent requested information : 14 JAN same day

Received Passport back with 221g Yellow Slip : 20th January 2022

Ceas Status is : Refused since JAN 11th ( No Update )

Hello all good people in JV. I have been gobbling tons of information in this forum.

Here is my situation. Wife (petitioner) is a USC living in Canada over 12 years with 2 kids both double citizen. We have now decided to move back to states to be close to families.

Wife is a stay home mom without any income. We don't have any Joint Sponsor for the AOS, thus, took the asset based approach (concern here as well ). AT the NVC DQ step, NVC mentioned it would be up to the CO to decide if we meet the requirements. The interview is schedule next month. Now concern about the intent to re-establish domicile to US by the petitioner question.
After reading the forum I realized that the 'Intent to re-establish domicile to US by the petitioner' is a tough call by the Montreal Consulate.

We are taking the following steps to be successful at the interview.

• Registered (today) wife for the online voter registration.
• Inquiring about leasing an apartment.
• Beneficiary (IT professional) is searching for jobs in the US, had few interviews, .. thinking to print emails of these interviews as evidence.
• Inquiring about registering kids in school.
• Opened a TD USA bank account (through TD Canada branch) and planning to deposit some US$ into the account.
