I'm wondering if anyone has an idea about how long from the NVC receiving a case to the interview being scheduled at the Montreal consulate is. Our case is being reviewed in Nebraska right now, so I'm getting a bit ahead of myself but any info would be great!

We got notice today that Nebraska is actively reviewing our I-130. From what I've seen most people get their NOA2 within a couple of days and I'm just wondering if that's true. We filed on Jan.11 and we're absolutely ecstatic they're already reviewing it but I don't want to get my hopes up too quickly.

Hello, I have an IR1 green card I received roughly a year ago. My husband and sponsor is a US citizen. We're planning on buying a house sometime in the near-ish future, which will be our first change of address since I arrived here with my green card. I'm aware I'll need to file the AR-11 within 10 days of moving. From what I'm reading, though, because my husband completed an Affidavit of Support for me, he'll also have to report his change of address (form I-865). I hadn't heard about this last point before, so I just wanted to make sure someone can confirm I'm understanding it correctly! It's no issue for us to file an I-865 when the time comes, but I don't want to misinterpret and risk muddling things if the form isn't needed. Thanks for reading!
