Any one been through the vaccine waiver for AOS due to religious exemption could you provide as much details as possible did you do form 1601? Did you write your own letter attached to it ?

I'm new here so please forgive me if this question has been asked over and over again.

I've been poking around here and I know everyone's situation is a bit different which is the only reason I'm posting as I'm hoping someone may have a similar experience and can help guide me.

I may be doing this a bit prematurely but I really want to have all my ducks in a row and know exactly what to expect during the whole process.

I am a Canadian moving from Ontario to Ohio and my fianc will be filing an I-129F petition for a K1 Visa so we can get married.

My question is: If anyone here lives in Ohio or has gone through the process, what is the best option for me after I move there? Would I be better off driving on my Canadian license until I get my AOS/ SSN? I've read that I am able to drive up to a year using my Canadian license but there is very conflicting information around. Unfortunately not driving is not an option as my fianc has kids and I will have to help get them to/ from school etc while I'm in limbo until I can get working.

Any bit of information would be helpful.

So I got my K1 after a long wait. I'm finalizing my move, and I learned that Canadians have to register if they intend to stay in the US for longer than 30 days (iirc).
Does anyone know if I need to register with USCIS?

My husband and I will take our oath and become naturalized U.S. citizens on the 25th of this month. We have a 17-year-old daughter who currently holds a green card, but her 10-year card is set to expire in November of this year. My question is: after we file her N-600 following our naturalization, will she lose her permanent resident status if the N-600 process isn't completed before her green card expires?

I selected the option to change my name in my N-400 form, however, during the interview, the IO said I couldn't do a name change because I live in a different state than the Federal court house where the oath ceremony would be held.

My issue is that I need to change my name ASAP due to name mismatch issues (christened name is commonly dropped from official ID, banks, etc in my home country, whereas my GC/DL/etc in the US have my full christened name).

My IO recommended me for approval, and case status shows as ceremony awaiting to be scheduled.

To avoid delays after the ceremony, I would like to get my name changed immediately at the local district court.

Has anyone done this? Reasons to not do this? I would immediately report the name change via USCIS as expected of GC holders.
