US Immigration from Canada

Not sure if anyone else has ever dealt with this but I m the USC and my spouse and son will be waiting in Canada until their I-130s are approved to come live with me in the US. Currently we receive the CCB and its under me. Can it stay under me when I move to the US or should it be transferred to my husband?

Hoping someone can clarify this for me. Hypothetically, let's say a Canadian taxpayer paid $30K in Income Tax to Canada Revenue Agency in 2021 but received a $25K refund because the taxpayer maximized all deductions through credits. Technically, the taxpayer still paid $30K in Income Tax that is imposed by the foreign country. Does the taxpayer enter $30K to get a foreign tax credit with the IRS? OR, since the taxpayer got a refund by maximizing deductions, is it $5K to be entered as the foreign tax credit?

I read the Publication 3x and I guess it is open to interpretation so I'd like to get feedback from members who already filed with IRS before. Thanks!

I've tried contacting USCIS, Googling, Social Security (hospital told me to try SS) and I'm not getting a definitive answer so I'm hoping someone here can help me out.

To start, I am a US citizen and my husband is a Canadian citizen. July 2019 my husband came to VA on a K1-Visa. As of February 2022, he is in the process of removing the conditions on his greencard as well. We are expecting our first child in mid May. I've been trying to figure out if our son will have dual citizenship automatically or if there is paperwork involved but I can not find an answer to my questions. When I Googled, I didn't really find what I was looking for, just that US allows dual citizenship.. When I called SS, they told me to contact USCIS. So I tried calling USCIS but the damn automated lady can't answer my question and won't allow me to speak with a rep. She literally said "If you continue asking to speak to a representative, I will have to disconnect the call." I didn't even know machines could do that but that is why I'm here asking. Any insight on this would be so helpful! If it's paperwork involved, I'd like to have it as ready as can be for when he is born.

We've just been invited to the AOS interview, coming up in less than a month. The notice says my spouse (initial sponsor) is also required to bring her birth certificate. We have the very inconvenient realization that that document seems to have been lost. (That's another problem we will need to fix.) But for the purposes of the interview, my wife has a miniature wallet version of her birth certificate. Would USCIS authorities accept that? Or should we make an expedited request to have the long/large form birth certificate replaced ASAP for the interview?

We have all other required documentation, I don't think we'd have any doubt showing that my wife is a U.S. citizen born and raised here.
