US Immigration from Canada

Hubby ( applicant) and I (primary sponsor) are both 20. I've been working on and off and our interview is coming up (AOS in Houston) in a few weeks. Hubby has been finishing associates degree. We have some savings but I don't think we qualify on our own. My mother in law, who we live with, and pays most of the bills, had submitted the 864 as a co-sponsor a year ago when we applied. She earns well above the threshold.

Do we ( me and and mother in law) need to update our financial statements and each bring with us an updated 864? (bank records, pay checks, mother-in law paychecks) since our bank accounts have fluctuated and MOL earns more?

Also- what documents, other than financials, do we need to bring?

We surprisingly received an email notification that our case is scheduled for an interview at the Houston office. They said they are sending us a letter with the date. Anyone have a clue what the lead time is? 30 days? Trying to figure out when the date might be so we can plan.

I am a Canadian citizen and now US LPR. I just got a job for a US company that has offices around the globe.

1. Is it possible to remotely work for this company in Canada so that I can visit friends and family after work hours?
2. Would I have to pay taxes for both Canada and US?
3. What should I say to the customs officer at the airport as to what my purpose for this visit is? (i.e. visiting family, or, what should I say if they ask if I will be working?)

Following multiple setbacks, my medical is set to expire in August. The Montreal Consulate just requested ANOTHER document which they could have requested at the interview. The window for the actual move to USA is looking pretty tight right now. The process seems to be engineered for foreign spouses sitting overseas twiddling their thumbs, waiting for the golden doors to swing open so they can immediately flock into the USA. Some of us are working people and have complex affairs to settle once we finally get the visa. What is the best way to postpone the process to give us some more breathing space? I imagine I can request another medical? They have my passport, so would I need to request that back? Also, I think someone posted that the consular officer needs to approve another medical. Can someone advise on a suitable course of action?

Hello! I submitted my DS 160 as spouse of US citizen but one of the reddit alt accounts I had created was a name followed by a number. i could not find in my records what it was because i hadnt used that alt in 2 years. I went off memory. I accidentally uncovered today what the exact name is... should I call NVC to notify them, email them so there is a record i am not concealing anything? Or should i just bring it to the interview? To clarify, there is nothing egregious on that account. Just me complaining about covid.
