I have somehow managed to lose my conditional green card (CR1 path). It expired 1/2025. I do have the I797 (48 month extension letter) and completed biometrics on February 3rd. In order to still travel what do I need to do? We cancelled our international flights when I realized I lost the card (the night before) with fear of not being let on the return flight. However I do cross the Canadian land border regularly to see my family. Do I need to file an I-90? I doubt they will issue an expired card? Do I need an ADIT/I551 stamp? and if so, do I need to file the I-90 to get that stamp, or will the I797 be enough? Will they issue one without proof of upcoming travel dates?

In 2022 my wife was not a yet a US resident/did not have her green card. Therefore, I filed as married, but separate. my questions are 1. do we still submit the 2022 return married but separate for her I-751 that I filed? 2. Does she need to submit hers from 2022 from her home country? thank you!

Not sure where to put this one. My spouse is Canadian and got her greencard in Nov 2024. Her Passport is expiring so we are planning to make a run at the border next week to do pictures and the renewal but it won t be same day. So when reentering the US ( land crossing) she will only have her greencard. I know this shouldn t be an issue but just need some reassurance.

Indianapolis is our local office. Passed the N400 and I751 joint interview on 1/7/25 (and got a paper that said so). Got a random letter on 2/5/25 saying that the I751 was approved (which we already knew, not sure why that took a month to send). We have received nothing for the N400, online status still says he's "in line for oath to be scheduled." (NOTE: Currently cannot add the case to our online account, as we do not have the access code anymore. I've requested a new one, but who knows when that will be sent. So I cannot see the detailed status of the case, just the general one when you type the receipt number into the box.) It has been 5 weeks since the interview and our case is not moving. Our lawyer and other sources made it sound like we'd get the letter 3-4 weeks from the interview, so we are starting to worry. My questions: - Will we be able to see the notice online without the access code?
- What is the next status after "Oath ceremony will be scheduled?" (So I know what to look for when the notice was sent or the ceremony was scheduled.)
- Any insights from others in similar situations? Anything we can do?
