Hi guys, Does anyone have experience with this situation? My husband, who is a green card holder, applied for my green card (F2A category) back in 2019. I recently got scheduled for an interview at the Montreal Consulate end of July, but during this time, I've given birth to our child. What do I do now and how do I add my child to my application? Many thanks for anyone that might have some insight on this. I'm surprised this isn't more of a common issue since the wait times are so long these days! Best, Lily

Hi folks, Has anyone here that has recently been "in transit" from NVC to MTL remember how long it was "in transit for"? I know its something that's not really looked at , but thought maybe someone would have some insight.. Ive been in transit for almost 2 weeks now. And I don't know if that's because my IR2 is still at NVC waiting to be DQ.

anybody know if police certificate needs to be the one with fingerprint? I submitted the one without fingerprint. Release of Results of criminal record check. I can add it as additional document, i guess, one with fingerprint but nervous it will push back my timeline

I married a U.S. citizen in January 2022 and I'm wondering what the best route is to get myself and my two boys to the U.S. to live and become permanent residents. We are currently living in Canada. I will be retiring at the end of January 2023. I will be able to go to the U.S. after that. My 2 boys are stepsons and will not be able to follow until a couple of years after that. I want to start the process for us all, but I would like to unite with my husband in February. My oldest son is 21 years of age and "aged out" before we were married. My youngest son was 17 years old when we married. Do I go to the U.S., and then apply for a green card or apply through I-130 first? My youngest son meets the "derivative relative" category and my oldest, the "preference family" category, I believe. If there is a better way, I would love to hear from you, the experts :) Thank you, Tracey
