To apply for ITIN, is the unexpired passport enough as a supporting document or I still need another document? I read you need at least two types of documents but then I read somewhere a passport is enough as a stand alone. Just want to confirm which is right.

If I choose to file tax return with married filing separately, will my spouse need to file? She has zero income. I know we get a bigger deduction filing together but I need to file as soon as possible and don't want to wait for ITIN. Also will filing separately work on state return the same way as federal or is SSN/ITIN required?

Packet 3 Personal Information

I'm trying to get a list of what personal or sensitive information is included in the packet 3 recieved from embassies.

Short background, my fiance had applied for a US visitors visa years ago and the email she had used at that time was lost in a data breach sometime around 2014-2015. She was & has been unable to regain access to it since it was breached. The embassy sent our packet 3 to this email address rather than using the contact information listed in the I-129F or the email addresses I sent to the NVC to receive our case status updates. Currently we have not been able to get a response from the embassy but have several support cases pending for various items and are waiting for the packet 3 to be sent to her valid email.

However while we wait for the embassy I am trying to find out what personal and/or sensitive information is included on the Packet 3 so I can determine if we need to setup any type of life lock or fraud alert services for the two of us.

Additionally does anyone happen to know what the correct personal information breach reporting path is in a situation like this?

What countries are allowing non-residents to get vaccinated?

Hello, have an issue here that I'm struggling to resolve. My fiancee is in Belarus and they don't have access to Pfizer/Moderna/Janssen. In order to get to Poland for her K1 interview (early next year most likely), she'll need a vaccine approved by the EU, and I'm still not sure what we'll take in order to fly to the US. This is a problem that all former USSR countries (with the exception of Ukraine) are facing right now and we really need help.

What countries are currently allowing tourists to get vaccinated, and do not have many entry restrictions? She has a Schengen Visa, but Germany won't allow in unvaccinated Belarusians; my plan was to see if she could get it in Stuttgart but that kinda died after that realization. Thank you kindly in advance.

Edit: I have looked into Dubai, but it appears they discontinued their program, like Serbia did recently. I am not sure if she can get vaccinated in Poland, but if we were somehow able to get a doctor's approval, she'd have to quarantine for 10 days there before attempting it. Though there are no quarantine restrictions on land borders, Belarusians can enter only once per three months with a compelling reason.

Thought I'd upload this in a new thread considering it supersedes any issues with having a COVID vaccine during the medical assessment: (https://www.cnbc.com/2021/09/20/us-to-ease-travel-restrictions-for-foreign-visitors-who-are-vaccinated-against-covid.html). Earlier it appeared as if it replaced the existing bans (ie, only applied to Schengen, UK, China, etc.), but it no longer appears to be the case and will apply to everyone. I believe I saw it described as an "individual-based, rather than country-based, approach".

I know there's no further information on this, but any speculation on if the K class will be treated differently? For those of us in countries where a WHO-approved vaccine is unavailable, it feels like the whole process has just hit a brick wall. My only thought is that this will only apply to "visitors", but then again you have the eternal technicality of K1 being non-immigrant. Not really sure where this leaves those of us who don't really have options.
