I am waiting to hear back on an i-129f petition of Jan 13 receive date and I completed biometrics approximately >1 month ago. I submitted all previous court records, dispositions, discharge letters etc. Non-AWA violation as well as non-violent. Has anyone else had the same experience? Any idea as to why no response? Am I just waiting on NOID? Not sure why the delay as I submitted all proper evidence as well as bonafide relationship evidence as well. I have also visited my fiancee 3 times in the last 2 years. I also submitted a congressional inquiry last week and I haven't heard back from them either.

Anyways if y'all have any insight or advice let me know.

Good evening, everyone! I hope this message finds you well. My mother is currently in Jamaica, and I am seeking advice on how to bring her to the United States for surgery. I am a citizen of the United States, while my mother is a Jamaican national. In March 2025, she was diagnosed with meningioma, which are brain tumors. Although the doctors had planned to perform surgery, it was ultimately cancelled. Recently, the hurricane has impacted the hospital in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and they are now planning to discharge her despite the presence of the tumor in her brain. As a result of her condition, she is unable to walk, talk, or eat, and is being nourished through a feeding tube. I would greatly appreciate any information regarding options available to facilitate her travel to the U.S. for this surgery, as she does not possess a visiting visa. The intention is for her to undergo the surgery and then return home afterward.

One of the documents asked during the k1 process is police certificates from all countries that the beneficiary has lived since 16 years old. What happens if a country won't give you one? for example, Russia is making things difficult for my and my partner's application. We are getting pretty stressed about this.

Hi All

Can someone please help me understand the relation between dates shown in Visa Bulletin and the USCIS processing timelines. I've a case filed in F2A category for wife with PD of June 2024 (I-485 filed as well). In the latest Visa Bulletin Table A, the dates for F2A are at 01 Feb, 2024 so I figured our I-130 should come up for processing shortly in the next 2-4 months but following a Facebook page, people there said I should be waiting another 2 to 3 years instead as currently USCIS adjudicating I-130s filed in Sept 2022 for F2A.

I always thought when the dates in VB crosses over a priority date, that means the visas are available for that category? If USCIS is still lagging behind, then how can applicant apply for AOS or consulates issue visas?

Should I not expect USCIS to start reviewing our I-130 any time soon?
