What to put down for "current legal name" for N-400? (Explanation in post)

I'm trying to fill out the N-400 and I'm wondering what to even put down for my current legal name. 
I know it sounds stupid but please hear me out: 
 
I already told USCIS to call me by my married name when I filed the 751 in a cover letter.  
They obliged and all correspondence with them since have been in my married name. 
I visited my home country (before filing 751 ofc) in 2023 and renewed my passport so it's also in my married name. 
My 10 year green card is also in my married name.  
  
The only thing that has my maiden name on it is my social security card. I need to have it updated to my married name  
with filing the N-400. 
 
My question is, do I put my maiden name as my "current legal" name? I think I should, and then on some of the blank 
spaces at the end of the form explain why correspondence with them has been in my married name. Obviously I should have not asked USCIS to call me 
by my married name already but I thought I should do so since my new passport is in my married name and I have legally changed 
it in my country.

That is your current legal name.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
