Community SpotlightDV Lottery of K1 Visa - Can I file for both?
Petrisaint Mpaka posted a topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures,
I applied for the DV lottery 2025 and hope to be selected this year. My fiancé and I discovered that there is a fiancé visa for the USA. Do you think if we apply for the K1 visa but are selected for the DV lottery that we can stop the fiancé visa process? What are the timelines and options here :)?-

Confused about steps after marriage
SP1988 posted a topic in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas,
My fiancee arrived last month on K1 fiance visa and we got married yesterday. It seems from what I have seen online that I made a mistake by not getting SSN prior to marriage? I am going to the SSN office on Monday to gather more information... also worried about employment authorization and travel authorization(s). Thanks for any insights!-

Tourist visa cancelled by CBP agent. Can we still get a CR1 or K1 Visa?
yotajeeper posted a topic in What Visa Do I Need - Family Based Immigration,
Upon my gf's most recent arrival, her tourist visa was cancelled at the airport due to her frequent visits last year and suspicion of working here. She was denied entry and sent back same day. Is a CR1 or K1 visa process an option still? I would appreciate any advice or tips you can provide!-

1 RepliesHello, I recently filed the I-130 and just put my first and last name as it is all that s on my passport. I received an RFIE for proof of US Citizenship which I provided my passport already but was not sure if it was a bad scan or got lost so I uploaded it again as well as my birth certificate which I realized has my middle name. Then I realized my marriage license does as well. On the application I just didn t put anything. Is this something I need to submit unsolicited evidence for? Can we be denied for me not writing my middle name? Also, my middle
named is misspelled on my drivers license and marriage license because it has to match my drivers license that I originally obtained with my short birth certificate that had the typo, long form is correct. I can send in proof of everything or should I wait?

4 RepliesAloha,
Dina and I are beginning to think about a second visit. We are considering Tahiti. Hawaiian flies non-stop to Pape`ete every Saturday. So logically it makes sense for Dina to take Philippines Air to Honolulu, then we fly together to Pape`ete. As I understand, Dina would need a transit visa to pass thru HNL. Does anybody have experience with these??

2 RepliesMy case is very similar, I don't know how to switch my ROC application to a waiver filling.
I have just received an RFE, should I include my divorce information in this or do I need to apply for a new i751 with the divorce waiver option?
