me: so tell me what happened from beginning to end, tell me what time did you get there and every detail

rajan: ohh yaa i was there about 12.45 and get inside there around 1.30 and time of interview was sharp 2 and end around 2.15

me: oh wow and what did they ask you? how did it go?

rajan: he was just looking at all the evidence and mostly looking upon the musical card that you sent to me and said about 3 times this is the most organized document he ever seen in his counsel time (Hallmark sells these cards that play music when you open them... awesome. And I bought a 13 tab expandable file folder to organize the documents for easy access)

me: hahahahahahahah really?

rajan: first he started with the album and ask who took our picture for the cover and he looked inside and said you guys are crazy, it's so cool. yap the best org. and and and

me: crazy? why crazy? why did he say we're crazy? :D

rajan: because its so cool. the album is soo soooo cool that he found (made a professional photobook of all our pictures including narrative)

me: hahahahahahaha

rajan: :D :D

me: hehehehehehe I'm so happy

rajan: :D yap its so easy going to talk with him

me: so he liked the card the best?

rajan: yap yap

me: oh I sent you two musical cards

rajan: he even gave it to the other counselor ladies asking to wait a few minutes to show them :D

me: what did he ask you? heheheheheheh so he was showing the card to other people in the consulate?

rajan: really it was fun

me: hehehehehe tell me more tell me more

rajan: yap

me: what did he ask you?

rajan: when did you meet, what i work for living? what you do there? and and and and reminded me you should get married within 90 days. thats it thats it

me: really? that's it?

rajan: we have a lot evidence, so he himself was convinced looking upon them. thats what i found

me: hehehehehehe amazing :D I'm so happy

rajan: really i was so excited just after the interview being so easy :D amazing were gonna meet soon very soon

me: the waiting the worry everything it's done!

rajan: :) its really happy day

10/15/2010 - Biometrics appt (@8am) YAY!!!!

11/20/2010 - Received the yellow letter (dated 11/17/2010)

11/30/2010 - Case moved to the Testing & Interview stage (Email)

12/03/2010 - Received interview letter

01/06/2011 - Interview @ 10:15a...APPROVED!

02/12/2011 - Received oath ceremony letter (dated 02/10/2011)

02/18/2011 - Received descheduled oath ceremony letter (dated 2/15/2011)

02/26/2011 - Received new oath ceremony letter

03/02/2011 - Oath Ceremony @ 1:30p (IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!)

03/09/2011 - Oath Ceremony @ 1:30p...FINALLY A CITIZEN!!!

That sounded amazingly easy! whew! congrats! :D

05.17.10 - I-485/I-765 mailed

05.25.10 - NoA

06.25.10 - biometrics appt

07.02.10 - emailed that our case is moved to CSC!

07.14.10 - touched

07.21.10 - touched

08.03.10 - approved for EAD

08.05.10 - uscis mailed out EAD

08.09.10 - EAD received!

01.05.11 - a ###### RFE over 6 ###### months after the fact

02.01.11 - touched

02.14.11 - APPROVED (finally)!

02.25.11 - received green card in the mail

DONE WITH USCIS FOR 2 YEARS!

03/12/2008 = Touched (due to phone call)

31st August 10 - NOA1 from VSC

10th January 11 - I-751 approved!

14th January 11 - 10-year green card in hand!!

22nd April 23 - N400 submitted online; NOA available in USCIS account immediately
6th November 23 - Interview; approval same day
28th November 23 - Oath ceremony scheduled

Our interview in London is tomorrow...so so nervous. The tell all be all part of this process so far. I not only hope that it is as easy as stated above but I hope that the individual conducting the interview is as personable.

...and yes Hallmark does sell song cards...I know I am the store Manager for a Hallmark in Williamsburg, VA. They have some GREAT Christmas ones this year...

Lovella, thanks for posting this! Really made me smile. You even have the speech pattern, right down to the missing articles! We're working on that these days...

Congratulations again. And on the organization, too. I told S last night and he sends his congrats along too... he's convinced that if the USC is proactive and in touch with the Consulate, things go more smoothly for everyone. I think he may be right.
