On the 19th of Feb. I thought my case just had been touched for the EAD. I was so excited I didn't think to click on our case number to see what it said. Well a few days ago I did click on it and it said that our EAD card production had been ordered and we would receive it within 30 days in the mail.

I know this sound stupid but I just have to ask.

I guess that means we got approved for the EAD right? I haven't got an email from CRIS about it being approved that is why I was wondering.

One more question how long does it take to get the EAD in the mail from the card production being ordered? Can it really take 30 days to receive?

I´ve seen people get it 4 days after that notice (no you don´t need to get that e-mail, as long at it shows that on the website)... in my case it´s been 13 days since that e-mail and counting... at this point I am sure everything can be =)

12/14/07 - Received in Chicago Lockbox

12/19/07 - Checks cashed

12/21/07 - Received NOA´s 1 in the mail for all three apps

12/27/07 - Received appointmet for Biometrics

03/31/08 - Approval Notice for I-130 and I-485 in the mail

04/05/08 - Received Green Card in the mail

04/10/08 - Received SS card in the mail

12/27/10 - Remove conditions

I think CIS is teasin me , first i get a touch almost every day for a week till the 19 then they let me hang flat, unless theyr workin on the aproval wich I hop-e is the case

I was transferred to CSC on 1/9, and not touches since 1/24. :(

Woah! Thanks for the tip. Is there any way to edit my post once I put it up there? Just curious, can somebody do something bad with our case number?

Congrats to all the approvals. Woo Hoo!!! Our I-131 travel document was just approved too. They are really working over there. This is such a different experience from the K-1 process. My goodness.

to my understanding you can PM captain E and ask to delete your post good luck ,

( I doubt anyone can do harm to your case since they would have to know all your personel info as well ,but better save then sorry and get the captain to delete it :)

Congratulations to everybody who had aprrovals for AOS.... mine has no touch since 12/26 and i am K3-AOS...K1 really is fast... i already received EAD card though.

I-751 timeline

3/05/10 - mailed I-751 packet

3/12/10 - arrived at CSC

3/16/10 - online status, NOA mailed but no mail received

3/18/10 - Check cashed

4/15/10 - biometric appointment (notice recv'd in mail - 4/01/10)

4/16/10 - touched

4/18/10 - I-485 & EAD touched????

5/03/10 - Card production ordered

5/11/10 - letter of Approval received in the mail

5/26/10 - email received "letter of Approval" sent in the mail... not yet received till now 6/8/10

7/07/10 - called USCIS why green card has not received yet

7/09/10 - email from USCIS stating that they already sent the GC on May 25th and undeliverable,

adviced to apply for I-90 as it might have been lost in mail

7/25/10 - mailed application for I-90 (replacement of lost or stolen card)
