    | Oath Ceremony : | 2017-09-14 |
    | Comments : | The ceremony sure was something I will remember the rest of my life , it was a great event over 136 applicants from 46 countries it was an outdoor event at a historic Armory park ( we where seated under a tent ) luckily the weather held up till the ceremony was over then the downpours started just as we drove out of the parking lot ,
we got there 1 hour before given time, right away it started as we had to lign up to give our old GC's and the invitation letter ( no passport needed )
handed us a welcome package with a little flag
they assigned us to our seats ( two rows of chairs front reserved for applicants back for visitors )
a USCIS Officer introduced him self and gave us the run down of the events process we had a young kid play the guitar for about 30 min
( and he was good ) then another young girl sang America the beautiful before the judge arrived ,
We had the park ranger give us a history about the park and how the hill we had our ceremony on was used in the war as a hide out from enemies ,very interesting story .
after the Rangers speech our cities Mayor got up and said a few nice words and congratulated us all
the judge introduced him self made us stand up gave us the oath ,
said a few very encouraging words it was very happy emotional day at the end the girl sang the star spangled
( she was not older then 15 - 17 but what a voice that kid had , wow could put a lot of professional singers I seen on sports events to shame , lol )
they came row to row with our certificates called our names to stand up :) we had to make sure everything was correct on the cert ,
then we where able to go get some pics done with the mayor , the judge the park ranger and the other guest speakers , the whole ceremony lasted about 2 1/2 hours

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
