where do you see the touches?

is it just where the date is?

yes, just on the date part. The date changed from dec 4 to Dec 21. I believe that is considered a touch. When i click on the link to the application it is still the same as on Dec 4th.

Hi everyone,

Newbie to the forum. H1B married to USC, filed AOS, EAD, AP on Dec 17, received printed notices for all on December 24. However, when I enter my receipt numbers - MSC etc. - it says" This Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system." Is there a lag between the (relatively prompt) sending out of the physical NOAs and the actual updating of the case in the database. Is that something I should call USCIS about?

Also, most December filers seem to have received their biometric appointment letters within days of their NOAs - I do not want to miss an appointment due to a "lost" letter - do you guys recommend calling USCIS about the appointment?

Many thanks!

I would just sit tight......it's Christmas holidays and who know how quickly they're getting through them. If you got the NOAs you can assume they've got the right address so don't stress (mind you I totally understand...was just wondering where my Biometrics letter is myself :)

Perhaps some of the Local offices are busier then otehrs when it comes to the appointments? Just a thought

Hi -

My husbands Biometric was the 29th and both the 485 and the 765 were touched on the 31st (I am sure it is because INS now has the necessary fingerprints and photos that were taken at the biometrics)

So.... now how long until we see something such as oh ummmmmm the work auth?????

Since I couldn't find a A-number in any of my papers, that leaves my whole package without both a Social Security Number and a A-number.... is that okay? Any of you know in the same situation???

I didn't have an A-number of SSN for my package either. Now that I've received the NOA2s I see that they've assigned one, but prior to this I wasn't aware of any. Everything appears to be proceeding just fine even though I didn't list either of these on our package.
