Sucks about the SSN :( I went to the office the otehr day, but I forgot my Marriage License on the coffee table, so the lady wouldn't do anything. She said she needed to know that my K1 was validated...ok, haven't heard that before, but sounds reasonable.

We'll head back after Christmas since we're out of time now. I don't want to let it drag on too long of course because the 3 months ends Feb 12 from when I entered.

She said she needed to know that my K1 was validated... thats exactly what I meen the world needs tards , cose we all know the k1 is valid for 6 month while the I 94 is 3 month , but hope things will go well for you , I know if i dont get a notice of aproval , wich should be in the next 2 weeks ,

I will just waite for the EAD even though my I 94 wont expire till feb 10 ( but with my luck they will aprove it same day I get my EAD , lol )

anyhow plz let me know if the MSC # works or if your getting error too ?,

So it turns out that the USPS site doesnt quite tell the truth when it says an address is "vacant" and a package is being returned to sender :D

USCIS received my first package and cashed the check yesterday

There was some frantic messing about with FedEx last night but I managed to get my second AOS application retrieved and now it looks like I'm good to go :D

Unbelievable! Soooo glad to hear that you will still be a December filer and not out another $1010 bucks!!!

Biometrics appt was a snap. My husband had an appt at 2 pm in Santa Rosa, CA at the ASC (Application Support Center).

All he needed to bring was the appointment letter and his passport (though he had all the other paperwork in the car in case he needed it). He filled out the form (which was mainly just info off of the appointment letter anyway), got a number and sat down and waited. It wasn't more than 3 minutes before his number was called. They took fingerprints, a picture and a signature and that was it. Less than 5 minutes to complete once in there.

There was no security beyond the staff asking if he had a cell phone.

Just though inquiring minds might want to know...

What does the M in MSC stand for?

It stands for Missouri, which is where your forms have been transferred to.

If we live in California, (LA County), why would they transfer the forms to MSC? Is this a temporary stop for processing before they will send the forms to California?
