This is a weird thing - my fiancee hasn't moved, but her address has changed as a result of a new residential community finishing its development phase. My question is when I should notify USCIS about the address change? Should we wait until NOA2 is received? I am wondering if a change of address would extend the already awefully long process.

If you are talking about US Citizen moving, avoid changing address before NOA2 if it can be helped, many posts complain of NOA2 getting lost.

Hi! My fiance has a different address now as well. From what I understand you can change it when the case gets to the NVC, before it goes on for the interview.

Correct if it is foreign citizen changing address, then contact NVC and correct it while they have the case, or later can contact the consulate and correct it with them.

Thanks for replying. My fiancee is in china.

Something has been bugging me for a while, and I may very well just spit it out here.

We all know the service centers are having a slow progress, in fact, they didn't even update their website on Nov 15. I will be at my parents place for winter break, which will last for at least two weeks. It would suck if the NOA2 arrives during that period. I tried to call the USCIS yesterday - the 1st attempt said their system was down, so I tried at a later time, and they could not find any information on my notification number. I could've talked to a customer service rep, but since they didn't specify the time zone, I must have made the call during off hours (apparently it wasn't california's timezone).

Has anyone who submit in July received NOA2 yet?

A few Juy filer's have been approved so far and even 4 or 5 SEPTEMBER filers.Which that just blew me off my feet.

If I remember correctly it was Canada once ,2 times Philipines and Thailand.

1 of them was from VSC the others from CSC.

I have no clue how that happened but Gee I wish it would happen to us.Even though I'd be happy to be approved in January since I'd much rather use 2007 W'2 for the Interview and since my Processing times in Frankfurt /Germany are below 40 days January would just be great for me!

Anyways

Good Luck on your NOA2 and don't worry about it cause your SO only needs a copy of that.If I were you I would go ahead and get the 134 ready now.
