Hello,

Not that it matters all that much.. because I have done what I can do.. but how is a case rejected? or is it too vague to answer

for Morocco there is a long list...the red flags. Not an easy Consulate.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

what was the reason you received?

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

If you did not hold hands at some at some point in time within the last 2 years. I believe a case can be rejected.

Lets start again after reading a little. You are still at the petitioning stage.

It would only be rejected if you are not a US Citizen, or you cannot prove that you have met in person within the last two years/

You state that you are going thru the US Consulate in Naples IT. In another thread you stated that he is in Italy illegally. You had better know now that he cannot use the Consulate in Naples. They will only accept cases for legal residents. He would have to return to Morocco for his interview.

Seems like an awfully slow week for CSC:(

I mailed in a my Military Expedite request last Thursday, and that resulted in a touch on Friday. I called them yesterday and a very nice woman told me that an officer had called for my petition to review it and make a final decision. I was told by the woman..."Don't worry about it at all Sir."

When i looked at my status today...i got a touch AGAIN, but it was today...not yesterday when i called. Does this mean someone actually did look at it today, or was this just from the phone call? I thought u got touches on the day you called them with the RFE trick?....anyone know anything about this?

I don't think I've stressed this much in my life....basic training didn't even compare to this...haha.

In general, it can be denied if you do not provide sufficient evidence of : meeting with in the last 2 years, earning more than 125% of the poverty level for your household size, having a continuing relationship. You can also be denied for certain convictions, affliations, or if you relationship seems fradualent.

There should be a reason if it has been denied. What i'm not understanding is do you think it will be denied or do you know for sure.

This is just a virtual Shepard Boy crying wolf, hypothetically. Sort of like, I just got this job watching these sheep. Will you now please give me on the job training for free. Please pay special attention to describing all possible dangers to which these stupid sheep might be exposed. Oh, and I'm not going to tell you anything about my flock, its location or what is already in place to protect them.

Please do this on your own time because I'm not paying for training.

Ya'll knock yourselves out.

Wow, that was kinda mean. Most of us go into this process knowing next to nothing about it. Some of us are better at researching our questions a little better than others. Some of us are more nervous than others, and some of us are no quite as good at verbalizing our questions, especially when so much is at stake. But none of us should be above helping someone out who is asking an honest question, even a question that's to vague. Or if we are above it we should have the grace to just move on to the next post.

I answered the question posed in the post I quoted by clarifying the question. You answer your way and I'll answer mine. Your response above is completely off topic.

There is no answer to the OP's question. It's like asking how to build a suspension bridge. You might be able to learn about it on the web but the answer will come from a previously published "Guide" not a group of civil engineers, asking how much of the bridge is already built and what problems have occured, then listing a thing or two each that might go wrong in the future.

His questions are best answered by studying the guides, determining which issues might potentially problems in his/her case and asking specific questions that apply.

True and true... from my standpoint, the point pushbrk was trying to make is that this is a public forum and one must be careful as to what they say. If I'm wrong on this point, I'll make one of my own: this is a public forum and it is accessible to non-VJ's whether they are on this journey with us or if they are using this resource for their own malevolent purpose. BEWARE.

Really, there is no such thing as a stupid question. But in the interest of integrity, we must watch our words. Perhaps it's paranoia, but I'd prefer to be safe instead of sorry.

Pushbrk - this question is indeed one that can be answered and is not as open & shut as you may like to present. The OP has noted some serious potential problems (and might I add others have gone through a consulate where they have been living illegally and come through just fine) however outlining potential reasons why someone can be refused a visa is individual depending on factors at play (which is where discussion can be quite helpful!)

I would apreciate you taking care with some of your posts, you can be respectful while at the same time providing direction and education.
