I just made my own wedding invitations. I am very proud of the fact that I saved hundreds of dollars...and I didn't have to switch to geico.

So I guess if you're crafty or have made your own wedding stuff, or anything in general, share it here if you like. :)

I used vellum paper, ready made cards from papyrus, ribbon and the stick on pearls that I got from a scrap booking store.

Though the spray adhesive I used to stick all the cards together got me a little giggly even though I was doing it outside.

I wish the internet wasn't full of weirdos because I wouldn't have to blur everything out.

They turned out lovely! I did my own announcements and my bouquet. I loved doing all that in preparation for our wedding.

Oh please post pictures if you have them!

I want to do my own bouquet too. I am hoping it all turns out.

Very nice, but I see some of the words are smudged and you were very generous with the white out :D Really though, those look nice.

Yea I smudged some of them on the mac and then sent them over to my pc so I could upload them. Then I thought: "I really shouldn't let everyone on about my last name...." so I went crazy in paint.

And we just finished doing all our RSVP's:

P1010002.jpg

See we bought blank cards at Papyrus, and I cut them in half with a utility knife...I used one half for the bottom of the invitation card...a little something to go under the vellum. The top half of the card had that nice border on it, perfect for an RSVP. Just had to feed them through the printer by 5's and tra lala!

I suggest everyone in the world make their own invitations...its easy and the money you save is AWESOME! ;)
