What happend to all of you, no news no helping, this page went to dark

wake up everybody, it's not the end of the world for those still on the process,

and for those who got their visa or interview, come on share the knowlage let's help each other.

for me still I can't get the packet # 3, I even send email to the embassy to give my wife appointment so that she can travel to the city where the embassy is, but no lock they just ignore me, I am trying to write a letter to my Senator and see if they can help

So I hope to hear good news from everybody specailly Urge, C & J and G & A

Hello Wintime, we are still here hanging around!!! I'm in the same boat as you...NO APPOITMENT YET. The people are the embassy are useless, they are worse than USCIS and they give zero information and they also misinform you. So all we have to do know is sit tight...we are almost at the end of the tunnel. Hang in there, you will see the light soon.

YGandMAT,

You right they are a lot worse then USCIS staff, at least we know USCIS have a lot of cases and they have to check your case and process it through so many steps, but the Embassy is just playing slow, and that allways happen when there is no consequences or somebody watching their work, what to say

pechez,

Your welcome, although I don't think I did any thing to help to put me among those giant helpers Urge, C & J, YGandMat and gogo.

Also I am glad to hear that your case is progressing, it seems that the folks in US embassy over in Philippine are organized.

Urge,

Please come out of your Cocoon and tell us where your case is, I hope everything is fine my friend, we missed your comments and your chart, please don't let this thing get to you, I hope your case is prograssing and you getting a good news and that you only busy with life.

C & J

I hope you will get a warm welcome in US by going to the south or any hot part of US, because let me tell you it is freaking cold in here  , better be ready.

.......hang in there everybody after winter is the beautiful spring

I'm still around :) But because there hasn't been any movement on my case and there didn't seem to be any movement on anyone else's I hadn't visited this thread recently  I'm just counting down the days to my interview. It's getting close now and I'm getting nervous  I have no reason to be nervous, it's just that the interview is so important that I don't want to make any mistakes.

Congratulations on the interview date, Pechez :D Not long to go now :)

The embassy must schedule something for you soon, YGandMAT, keep your hopes up :)

C & J

Where abouts are you? I'll be heading to Iowa, which is currently 29F (or -1.5C to me). It was down to -13C at one point in the last week or so and I have no idea how I'll cope with that :help: England is fairly mild and doesn't have huge changes in temperature so both the hot weather and cold weather will be a lot more extreme than I am used to.

I've pretty much managed to avoid both extremes until now (visiting only in February/March and September/October) but last September I felt like I was melting when we were out and about for my brother-in-laws wedding. I think this coming summer/winter will be quite a trial for me. Josh'll need to be there with the ice cold drinks or cocoa ;)

Hey all, I know I haven't been on for awhile....good news, I finally got an appointment date set for my wife, but it's a long ways away from the date I handed in the paperwork. Packet 3 handed in January 10th, visa interview FEBRUARY 21st! Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let everyone know that we recieved our number from the NVC today. I called and talked to a live person and they asked for the usual USCIS number and birthday of the beneficiary etc etc.. and then the man asks me "is your phone number xxx-xxxx" and rattles off my phone number! I was so excited because I knew I was in the system even before he finished! He proceeded to give me our new case number and then told me that it would be processed and forwared to the embassy in 1 -2 weeks. He made a point to say it would be 1 - 2 weeks before it was forwareded, and not 1 - 2 weeks before they receive it. I suppose the two weeks might be a generic number that they throw out to all inquiries but it sounded good to me. Anyway, he said they would be mailing us a confirmation of receipt yada yada yada...

Well, suffice to say we are really excited. I would rather see small progress often more often than nothing but a blackhole for so long like USCIS. I realize that all the little processes will add up but at least we can sleep at night knowing something is happening.

Puerco :dancing:

I-130:

05/26/07: Mailed USPS

05/29/07: Delivered CSC - USPS Receipt

06/07/07: Check processed and WAC stamped

06/11/07: Check deposited

07/19/07: Case Touched... Just found out how to check for touches and it was touched today! (I did call yesterday so maybe that had something to do with it. No telling now if it had been touched prior.)

09/10/07: Case Touched...

09/13/07: Received NOA1 Receipt Notice by mail (RD 5/29, ND 9/7, PM 9/10)

01/11/08: Received NOA2 Receipt Notice by mail (RD 1/11, ND 01/08 PM 01/09) - Wife

01/11/08: Received NOA2 Receipt Notice by mail (RD 1/11, ND 01/08 PM 01/09) - Unmarried Child

I-129F:

01/22/08: NVC Received case and forward to Embassy

02/10/08: Packet 4 mailed out from Guayquil Embassy - No indication of receipt date. (Never received, downloaded everything from the web)

Congratulations on an interview date, John :D You have less than a month to go and hopefully that time will go quickly

And congratulations on getting the NVC case number, Puerco. It is a great feeling knowing your petition has finally left USCISs clutches, isn't it? :) And you're right about the little bits of progress, after almost nothing for the first 6 months of the process, they seem like a blessing :)

This is strange on the USCIS Web Site the NOA1 for I130 and NOA1 for I129f are updated on 22/01/2008 but they have not changed any continents.

What is happening? I should have got the NOA2 1 and 1/2 Month ago. I am just very frustrated.

Hello Neenuh. How is yours son's I-130 doing besides being too slow?

I am starting to get a little anxious for the interview. Unfortunately, I am unable to be present at the interview. The good news is Meryll met four VJers at the medical exam. They recognized her from my avatar. We are planning for her to fly with one of Fil VJers to O'Hare in Chicago.

Nobody really knows where pkewl and Urge are. I hope they are both OK and too busy to post

Hello All,

I am back :D

Sorry for being out of contact and a delayed reply but I was in India for the last 5 weeks visiting my wife there. Thank you all for dropping a note to see how we/I was doing - C & J, neenuh... and e'one else who checked upon us.

As for our case progress, my wife submitted her packet 3 on Dec 2nd and ridiculously got a visa appointment date on March 5th. Yes after 3 months for some reason . I guess Bombay is that busy or they just dont like us. Anyhow, my wife and I are just glad to have a visa appt date than NOT to have one at all or something worse. So, we are just playing the waiting game.

How about the rest of the bunch? Urge.. u still here...

Guys, I got to go right now but I will start catching up here on VJ as time permits.

Wishing everyone here a VERY GOOD LUCK for a NOA2 or with the visa appt date.. Hope things work out well for all of us.

Regards.

Hey Pkewl,

Good to see you back! :) Jaz and I have an interview of March 6th and a medical of Feb 28th. She's going to take an early medical. Its funny that my K3 made it to the embassy but it seems as though my CR1 is still rolling around at the NVC. Again, like you we are grateful that at least we have an appt. So close, yet still so far. ;) As for the rest of the bunch, G&A have their appt today so hopefully as is well in Vancouver. I can't speak for the rest.
