Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know that the embassy in Kuwait received our 129f petition yesterday January 2nd. The embassy called my husband Hassan and told him to be at the embassy on January 21st between 1:00 and 2:00 PM and I asked him is it for the interview or to pick up the packet and he said he thinks it is to pick up the packet but now I'm worried what if it is the interview date and he goes unprepared? I called our lawyer and he said he will call Hassan and the embassy and find out. Alhamdulellah we have a wonderful lawyer who has been close by our sides through this whole process. (F) I will keep you guys posted when any more new information comes my way. Take care everyone and my prayers are with you all!!

I talked with my lawyer and the embassy in Kuwait today. They told me that when Hassan goes to the embassy January 21st it will be for the packet with the information about what doctors he can go to for his medical and also what he needs to bring for the interview. They told me that once Hassan does his medical he will get an interview shortly after that. It looks like it is coming very close for Hassan and I to be reunited. (F):luv:

Well, yesterday was my birthday and had 2 very nice presents... first was a very good medical, much less hassle than I thought it was going to be :D and the second was my interview date    My interview will be February 1st at 9:30am.

Josh's parents contacted a congressman on our behalf on the 2nd Jan and I signed consent forms for the office to look into our case on the 3rd. By the time I arrived home from the medical, I had an email from the lady at the congressman's office telling me when my interview would be. I'm still waiting for an official letter, but at least we know when it'll be now :D I haven't stopped smiling since I found out. It's going to be so wonderful to hand in my notice at work next week (stating it is pending an approval on the 1st) I have wanted to do that for the last 8 months

All being well, my final work day will be the 15th, so I can spend until the 20th (flight day) sorting last minute things out :D:dance:

I don't know what's happening with my case, My wife didn't get packet# 3, even though they said they have mailed the packet 8 days a go, I am starting to wonder why packet# 3 is so mysterious with everybody, everyone I know (friends , relative ..tc) had their packet#3 come late where the embassy claim they have sent it.

Even here with most of Vjers packet# 3 didn't just made it with reasonable time, every time this packet was very late

Cheryl,

This is FANTASTIC!:thumbs: I am so happy for you. And you get to use that ticket too. Congrats! and good luck.

Wintime,

Yes, its hard to figure out. I got packet 3 here, and then forwarded it to my wife. They said that the sent P3 to my wife and copy to me, my wife still has not gotten her copy, and we returned P3 almost a month ago. The date on the P3 letter was about 10 days before the post mark date. She should get it soon I hope, if she doesn't and you do, then send your copy to her, don't wait for the one the "sent."

Deb you are special...USCIS loved you so so so much they decided to hang on to you...maybe you should break up with them :P

Something is telling me that you will be approved by the end of next week...if this is the case...you owe me a latte

LOL, I would like to feel a lot less special...I just don't feel we're compatible anymore, lol  I feel a divorce coming on :lol:

If whomever or whatever is telling you that I will be approved by the end of next week is true, I would make a pot of latte for you and hand you the pot with a straw if that were to happen, LOL!!! I do hope they make it snappy and get this over with.

Deb
