:o How did he get her into the building unnoticed? LOL...wow

Speaking of guys who love dolls....Ryan Gosling in Lars and the Real Girl went into major theatrical release yesterday.

It's getting really good reviews...

larsandtherealgirl_galleryposter.jpg

Lars Lindstrom is a loveable introvert whose emotional baggage has kept him from fully embracing life. After years of what is almost solitude, he invites Bianca, a friend he met on the internet to visit him. He introduces Bianca to his brother Gus and his wife Karen and they are stunned. They don't know what to say to Lars or Bianca--because she is a life-size doll, not a real person and he is treating her as though she is alive. They consult the family doctor Dagmar who explains this is a delusion he's created--for what reason she doesn't yet know but they should all go along with it. What follows is an emotional journey for Lars and the people around him.

I just saw a commercial for this movie. It looks good!!

Definitely a movie I would enjoy seeing.

I honestly don't understand how this warrants an arrest. At the end of the day, the guy got off on a piece of rubber in a restroom. That's quite pathetic and all but I don't know that it should warrant an arrest. No wonder our jails are overcrowded.

I agree for the most part. What he does with Ms. Dolly is his business- he isn't hurting anybody.

But- I guess the fact he was in a public bathroom makes it a different story.

I somewhat agree, but this guy's weird public behavior needs to be on public record.

Is it a stretch to assume this guy has little or no inhibitions? As long as he confines it behind closed doors and to inantimate objects I could care less. If he ratchets his lunacy up to include live animals, small children, or unwilling adults I have a huge problem with his behavior.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

10+ years ago I worked in a place that sold things like that, one night after work a few of us left together and when we turned a corner near this business there was a man doing his business with one, out, in the open, on the side of the street, on the HOOD of a car (presumably HIS car, but you never know)!!! couldn't even wait to get home, we all (mixed company btw) had a wonderful laugh at this mans expense!

i was drunk

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

 Dont give USCIS any more ideas!

I just dont understand how anyone could do the horizontal polka on a public restroom floor! We've all read the poop at work thread, we know what goes on in there. Laying on the floor is almost as bad as sitting on the toilet seat!

And I wonder if the doll will press charges.
