What Is Your Favorite Season?

I'm with you on Spring. The birdies are chirping, flowers are blooming(even in the city), days are getting longer and warmer and there is a sense of energy and hope in the air. Also, my birthday(May 7) and my sweetie's birthday(June 3) are both in Spring.

Just love all the flowers !!! Yay for our b-day !!

Spring for the colorful flowers

Summer for the longer days

Winter for having "fun with snow" (but not to drive on) during the rare times we have them

but my favorite is AUTUMN! I just love the colors!

Unfortunately, they're saying we won't have a spectacular autumn this year because of the drought

Winter is my favourite, I love the snow and bundling myself up in layers of clothes. Mind you saying that, Autumn here is shaping up nicely and the US even seems to celebrate it here with decorations and stuff - I'm loving that! Could I buy any more mini-pumpkins for table decor???

So, maybe Autumn will replace Winter, I dunno. I'm liking Autumn so far because I can start working on the outside of our house again. It just got WAY too hot during the Summer; made it almost impossible to do anything out there.

Summer is my least favourite. Ugh.

It has to be fall as the colors are amazing, but they don't really last that long. Then it turns brown for about 2 months, and just as you're about ready to top yourself gawd knows how many feet of snow comes along with freeze-your-tits-off temperatures. Spring is just too muddy here, and as long as the temperatures don't get too high, summer is perfect. This summer was stunning in VT.

That's funny. I seem to spend much of the Winter passing all those morons in their 4x4s, minivans, and SUVs who never learned how to drive them properly.

You're not wrong there. I can't tell you how many SUVs I see turned over in the road cos they think they can handle those machines in the snow. We do fine with snow tires on our lil car too. Failing that we ski.

Spring for me, for sure.... it symbolizes rebirth, new life, warmth, more light and an uplifting feeling.

Fall is the worst for me.... I don't like everything dying, the short days and less light, and of course, the cold. Here in the Pacific Northwest..... the cold lasts way too long.

The weather is sunny and still warm cool enough to stay ou tlonger, sunsets are usually more beautiful because of the cleaner air.

Vacationers are gone children are back in school.

This also happens to be my favorite time of year in Autralia ( Autralian Spring time)

In Japan it is early Spring late March -May just peaking during Golden Week, before raining season and hot humid summers.

I like them all to an extent. In Wisconsin we got 4 seasons, with winter lasting the longest. It was nice from November-January, then the snow and cold got old. Living in southern Arizona now it seems the only seasons we get here are warm and hot.

I grew up in Colorado with 10 foot snow drifts and 40 blow temperatures and am done with that. Summers in Colorado and winters in SoCal or the RP

Ah, the football (soccer) season is my favourite . I don't really like the off-season unless its a World Cup or European Championships year.

Summer. Definitely summer. I love it when it's VERY hot and doesn't rain. It's not humid in North Cali, so no bad hair days for me I love it.

I can't stand it when the temperature goes below 70 - I consider it unbearably cold.
