We mailed our AOS and EAD on 9-14-07, still waiting for NOA1 and biometric appointment

Don't worry too much about not receiving your NOA1 and biometrics appointment yet. There are a few of us in the August Filers thread who haven't received NOA's or biometrics appointments. Some people (like me - filed on July 27th) have received their NOA but still no biometrics. We all have to be patient - and its really hard!!

Don't worry too much about not receiving your NOA1 and biometrics appointment yet. There are a few of us in the August Filers thread who haven't received NOA's or biometrics appointments. Some people (like me - filed on July 27th) have received their NOA but still no biometrics. We all have to be patient - and its really hard!!

I gotta say, that calms me down a little, here i am running around like a chicken that lost its head, because i still havent gotten my bio appointment, seeing that you havent gotten it either and that you sent your papers in soo sooner than me, makes me think that everything will be allright, good luck with getting your bio, whats the local office??

This is a painful process, sometimes feel like never ending, first you wait to bring your spouse here and then wait for adjustment, I wish they speed up the process. In my state without workauthorization my husband can't apply for SSN, can't get his license, can't work so frustrating. Hope all work out soon.

Finally got the biometrics apointment!! :-)

Im supposed to go on the 29th of this month to the local new orleans office!!

Just hope the wife can get off work to get me there, lol :-)

Man i am sooo happy right now, been so nerveos about not receiving a bio apointment!

Day 22: Checked Cashed on 10/3

Received today, Sept. 29th, two envelopes, NOA for I-765 and NOA for I-131. Both postmarked on Sept. 25th, meaning 5 days from receipt of my file until they posted these NOA's.

Now waiting for I-485 NOA and Biometrics appointment letter.

Check does not show up as having been cashed at my bank yet.

What do you know, check shows up on banks homepage as having been cashed today, Sept. 29th.

One question to all you others out there, are you able to use the Receipt numbers on your NOA's to sign up for status messages on USCIS.gov?

Alright Status Update:

I-485 Noa arrived Monday, October 1st, was postmarked Sept. 25th like the I-131, I-765 that previously arrived.

ASC Biometrics Appointment notice received today, was mailed October 1st.

Biometrics scheduled at CLT on October 27th.

No I'm unable to use any of the three confirmation numbers I have on uscis.gov to sign up for notifications. But at the pace this is going now, I am pretty fine with it. After the biometrics get done on the 27th, it'd be nice to be able to sign up though.

Yay, Sept. thread! Sent paperwork in on the 11th and got the NOA1's for everything sent the 21 and recieved them 24th. Now we're just waiting for the bio appt. Crossing my fingers its on a good day

Sent AOS package, I-485, I-765 and I-131 (plus all supporting docs) to Chicago on Sep 15, delivered Sep 18. Waiting for cheque to be cashed and awaiting NOAs.
