I'm very anxious too, I just found out from the receipt delay section on the USCIS website, I-485 is not delayed at the Chicago lockbox. And normally the processing time for initial receipt is only 2 weeks of USCIS receiving the applications. Take a look at the following link to USCIS' website:

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...0004718190aRCRD

And per the USCIS, I-485 has the highest priority in processing. So I think it's odd that it takes us so long to just get the NOA. Any suggestions from anyone? What can I do to get them process our application faster?

I filed my 485, EAD, and AP to Chicago lockbox on Sep 25th. So far have not received any NOA, check not cashed yet, so anxious. I used USPS delivery confirmation and the package was delivered at 4:30 a.m. Should I be worried??

i have been worried about the delay on my NOA for my AOS since i got the notices for EAD and AP sept 29. just this morning my status online for my EAD was updated with this note

Current Status: Notice returned as undeliverable.

On October 8, 2007, the post office returned our last written notice on this case as undeliverable. This can have serious effects on the processing of this case. Please call 1-800-375-5283 to update the mailing address so this notice can be re-sent.

i called USCIS they got my PO BOx add and would just request for it to be sent back to me within 30days. The representative couldnt tell me what the notice is. After that i went thru my files and discovered to my dismay i comitted an error on my AOS application by putting our physical address and not the PO Box like i did for the EAD and AP. Now i feel so stupid when i had reviewed the package over and over again before it was filed and now i know it will cause me problems. I called

USCIS again and this time the representative said i will have to wait for 90days for me to change that address on AOS. :crying: I feel so helpless and i need input from you guys.

thank you so much.[/b

above is the reason why i haven't receive the NOA for my AOS. i am depressed...
