I am sorry for your ordeal and am saddened by the rude, obnoxious and uncaring replies you received. I am sorry that your pain is

being treated as a joke and entertainment.

If anyone can but for a moment put himself/herself in your shoes, there would be empathy and not this cold, callous rhetoric. Life is a teacher to

make us all a little more understanding of misfortune. If any have not learned that yet, sooner or later it may come to their door. Trust me life will teach you empathy. Immaturity will become wise some day.

You deserve all the pats on the back you need my friend.

Best wishes for a new beginning (F)

For those who have had an idea of who I am. I was originally on here as KINO. I live in Hawaii. And yes she was from Brazil. I tried to delete my profile.

I do thank those of you who have been understanding and have helped me recently and in the past during the VISA process.

If I do get some answers, be it from her or Sarah, I will let you know.

My best wishes to all.

Kino

Post here with your actual account then.

steven, we did a search on items within the post and figured out who it was, it is kino. if you are really a doubting thomas (steven?) i'll send you the search to show how the posts under the two names match up.

for the op, sorry to hear this happened to you and your fiance, and for the train wreck that ensued in the other thread.

OP, I too wish you all the very best with sorting this out, and with getting the legal stuff sorted... the emotional stuff may take a bit longer to work through but I'm sure you can do it; I hope your friends are being supportive :)

I'm really sorry this has turned out so badly, but glad you've been able to see some positives... and yes, not getting married is definitely one of them

to all the others who have been so callous and rude - well, all I can say is you've come across as much more troll-like than the OP, so consider THAT for a while... if you're not interested, then DON'T READ THE THREAD; there's a simple solution... and if you're right and we've all been duped, where's the harm? I sure as hell would rather be mistakenly kind and compassionate than rude and callous, whatever the actual truth of the matter is

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

I want to apologize for coming across as rude and callous. I really believe this site's purpose is to provide support for others who are going through their own visa journey.

I did not initially assume that jonkam was trolling, only that there are so many holes in the story, and as far as speculation goes - many outrageous speculations were made both by jonkam and others as to why his fiancee just disappeared (another man). I belong to another immigration forum where the USC posted a thread basically wondering why his wife had left him. After many posts of sympathy for him and speculation against her, she finally came onto the site and posted that he had choked her and verbally threatened her. There are always two sides (or more) to a story. Regardless of whether it is something we know as a regular member or an anonymous poster, IMO, we should be careful to give whatever help or answers that are needed and leave the speculation out of it.

To the OP I am sorry that your original thread went the way it did.... there will always be people on any forum board that are always going to be rude and take delight in others pain.... yes there are two sides to every story but the details of what happened in your relationship are unique to you.. please dont allow the people who tried to make you out to be a bad person, a troll and all the other things put you off from seeking help, information and support from those who are happy to give it....

I wish you well for the future...
