Yes, Bovino.  https://www.fox9.com/news/border-patrol-chief-was-outright-lying-about-previous-ice-surge

"it sounds like the crime scene was turned over to the locals" - No it was not, I've said this earlier with the lawsuit that was filed to stop the US Government from destroying evidence. image.thumb.png.5266916eb94e74cf0f157e8066354c73.png

"What is sad is that if this was a bad shoot that could lead to the agent being prosecuted, the evidence may be scarce due to the activities of the extremists." - Oh all the government needs to do is release Alex Prettis video, they were real quick to release the officers one. Where's Alex Pretti's? And give me a break "bad shoot" isn't even close, 10 bullets to the back, it's murder.

"he might not have had his CCL license" - Again, false. Federal authorities have not explained how or when they determined Pretti did not have identification.

"It seems there was more impeding on his part as the agents were trying to take another person into custody.  Best to avoid that type of confrontation IMO." - Again, false. You show me the video where Alex Pretti was impeding agents, I'll give you a hint agents approached him for recording. 2 car lengths away.

"As to the fraud allegations, before anyone can go to court, those allegations need to be investigated otherwise a court will throw everything out." - That's why US Citizens and Green Card holders are being held without communication to their lawyer for days on end?

"You mentioned ICE was disproportionately deployed to Minnesota, but you realize there are a lot more federal investigators/agents and they are not all ICE." - ATF, BOP, CBP do not handle financial fraud cases. But sure like that US Citizen Hmong man dragged in the cold half naked right?

"if there was cooperation, none of this would need to happen" - Again, false. The Minnesota Department of Corrections have always alerted ICE to their inmates that aren't here legally, it's on ICE to pick them up after their sentence is done. Here's proof

Lies without proof to show for it.

So using your last line, it seems you are making full blown conclusions without all the proof.  I would hate to have you on a jury.

I agree that HSI should not be conducting the investigation.  I heard yesterday via MSM that it might be a joint FBI MN State Police investigation, but we shall see.  Noem is a joke, and I really wish Trump would have left her in SD.  It might be time to cut her loose.  I also agree that the rank and file of the DoJ appear to be impartial which is probably the case in many large LEO agencies.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Todd Blanche’s response to this case. He seems to be able to read the room.

The Good case you could interpret the videos several ways, and the DHS argument was that it was clearly an in-policy shooting and you had career officials who thought that as well (which doesn’t really matter — DHS internal policy isn’t the law, but I digress. Matter for a civil court to deal with 2 years from now.)

The video on this one just looks like cold-blooded murder of an American citizen by an immigration enforcement official, and there’s nothing coming out that looks good for DHS. Even if that turns out not to be the case, it’s what most of the public is seeing right now. That’s why Trump and GOP senators are moving so quick to throw Noem and Bovino under the bus on it.

An investigation ran by the woman who called a man shot 10 times in the back while he was prone on the ground a “domestic terrorist” isn’t going to be taken seriously in these circumstances, and I’m glad DOJ political leadership gets that the tone here matters for the credibility of any investigation. Really hope they pry their jurisdiction back in the case from HSI and we get a report most people can have confidence in.

Walz and Frey are vile people.  They are clearly insurrectionists who are inciting a rebellion against federal law.   Walz and Frey could help turn down the heat.....but they won't.

I tend to think this is more of the result of bad decisions by different people during a very chaotic situation in a very short period of time.  Calling it cold-blooded murder makes it sound like the agent was itching that day to get a shot at some protester regardless of what they did.  I know what the current videos show and how easy it is to pause them and then try to put our investigators cap on, and I expect more videos will come out, but I do not think this was pre-meditated cold-blooded murder (I know, you did not say pre-meditation, but "cold-blooded" infers pre-meditation IMO) by some rogue gun ho agent.  Sure others, particularly the leftist activists want to string this guy up (and they call themselves progressives) today, but as I always caution, wait until the investigation is completed.  In the end I still re-iterate my question as to why this seems to only be occurring in Minneapolis?  Sure there are CBP officers augmenting ICE activities there simply because the ICE agents cannot depend on any help from the local police, but that is not the complete story here, and in the end, the chaos was going to lead to bad events.  Whatever, I guess Walz is getting his distraction as the MSM is not really discussing the massive fraud in Minnesota.

As to the chaos, I understand the group chat and apps being used are identifying non-ICE vehicles as being ICE.  At some point a citizen being harassed by this unhinged radical leftist activists is going to be the one taking the shot, and who will be at fault there.

Overall, a sad situation all around, and most of it for political purposes only.  Alinsky would be proud.

Caused & perpetuated by Biden, Walz, and Frey, imo.  "Orange man bad" overrides all logic and sanity.

Frey tweeted this yesterday:

"Minneapolis will continue to cooperate with state and federal law enforcement on real criminal investigations — but we will not participate in unconstitutional arrests of our neighbors or enforce federal immigration law."

That is why ICE is surging there, Mayor.
