Hi everyone. My spouse has finally received his visa and will be here around christmas! I had previously planned a vacation in the caribbean around New years and would love to now add him to the trip but I know his green card wont arrive in time. Has anyone heard any recent issues with re-entry traveling on your stamped passport but no physical green card yet? Is there a certain amount of time needed for the system to register his info and not cause any issues? There would be about a week between entering and then leaving on vacation

What country is he from?  You may investigate Global Entry, and maybe he could do the biometrics/interview at his arrival PoE.  Beyond that, should not be an issue traveling/re-entering on the endorsed visa/temporary I551.
