Can invisible chronic illnesses be a problem durimg medical examination. I'm CR1 beneficiary and I have 6 non-contagious invisible chronic illnesses. I wear a Continous Glucose Monitor sensor (Freestyle Libre) for recurrent low blood sugar (I'm not diabetic) and still trying to discover what causes my condition with my Endocrinologist abroad, and I requiere to eat snacks every 2 to 3 hours, or I feel faint, I read at the medical exam and embassy interview agents don't allow any food. So how can I do this without calling the attention so much or getting a denial? Would you hide so many illnesses?

There was one missing from my records so went to the local Surgery and got that done, forget which one it was?

Please mention the vaccines that are mandatory as September 2025, I am CR1-IR1 beneficiary

I have probably 1 or 2 from my childhood records, but that was 43 years ago. Hope those are still valid?

Whether they’re still valid or not will depend on what they are, some (such as tetanus) would need to be redone as it is every 10 years.

You can see the full list here - https://www.cdc.gov/immigrant-refugee-health/hcp/civil-surgeons/vaccination.html#cdc_generic_section_10-table-1-vaccine-requirements-according-to-applicant-age-for-civil-surgeons

We had any missing ones done at the medical, a few each. Probably more expensive that way but it was just easier.

I think my one was tetanus, Surgery just round the corner and even better free.

What if I had some of those but over 20 years ago? Should I repeat them? My health is very delicate, I had a mini stroke 2 years ago and I have 6 invisible chronic illnesses (non-contagious), vaccines can make my illnesses worse. I can't and don't want a waiver I guess I have no many choices if I don't want them?

Civil surgeon will determine whether these are safe to administer or not. You don't have a choice. Either waiver (on which grounds) or you have to take it (unless health official determines it is not safe). The idea is, every immigrant entering the US should not pose health risk to US population. That's why the requirements are strict.

Pretty sure most of mine were from an early age, as has been said most are have you had them not when.

From what I have seen most waivers seem to get approved but of course it adds time to the process and a chunk of change.

If you have a record of them 20 yrs ago, they will accept them. If you got chicken pox as a child they will accept your word of getting them with a rough idea of when (age).
