Scintillating Sunday repartee, yawn man.

-------

Thrilling Sunday-on-Monday report, see man:

Awoke too early after another bad night on bad zzz-hotel bed, :girlwerewolf2xn:  man.

Breakfast was green grapes and the meats/cheese from the fridged deli sandwich, overbuy and ingest we man.

The Many (2x2x2x2 +2) grapes (we presume) had a gastrointestinal impact, delay we man.

Got up-packed and out-checked, bill credit as promised man.

Hit road at precisely Many (2x2x2 +1) a.m., time-marker man.

More Sunday-a.m. traffic than expected, oh well man.

Made excellent time, posted speed a mere suggestion* man.

*others were the same, gratifying man

Hit several patches where turtles occupied the left lane, need dashboard-mounted nuclear device man.  :ranting:

Nevertheless, we shaved Many (2x2x2x2 +2+2+1) minutes off projected arrival time, first half of journey man.

Made medium-sized small town just in time for bathroom break, really close man.

Groceried at Brookshire Brothers, several deals man.

Utilized seldom-used shopper card and saved $Many ($2+1), F$WM.

All this time, Mama T-B. was lobbying for a "brief yet mandatory" visit, trashed we man.

She finally relented and we shall see her Monday, relief man.

Shaved Many (2x2x2 +2+2+1) minutes off medium-town-to-casa segment, despite heavier traffic man.

Total time was Many hours Many minutes to go Many00 miles, not too bad man.

Took forever to unload packed T-B.-mobile, nearly couldn't enter casa after dropping junk in entryway man.

All this time, miu was plaintively miuing from other side of door, Where Are You Daddy miu man.

Miu almost out of water, need to lecture recent miu-sitters man.

Served miu miu-lunch, service miu we man.

Miu had recently been brushed, but miu insisted on rebrushing nevertheless, seek-assurancing miu man.

Half of miu came out in the brush, need to counsel recent miu-sitters man.

Our kitchen was messed up, obvious trait of ex-Mrs.-T-B. man.

Miu remained needy for several hours, Where Were You And How Dare You Daddy man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. turned Many years old today, celebratory ex-she man man.

She wanted to off-drop Mini-B. at 2 p.m., evening plans ex-she man man.

We wanted to siesta, desperately in need of same we man man.

We first warshered/baked/folded the weekend's ES purchases, domestic we man.

Mini-B. arrived at this time, start of Two Guys Half-Week man.

The instant we lay down for our siesta, neighbor's yard crew began working, :ranting:  man.

However, we made lemonade from lemons, enterprising we man.

We hired crew for our yard, work to be done on Monday man.

This saves our aching carcass from a full mow, enterprising we man.

Siesta fairly successful, took the edge off man.

Began/completed LL #2, trip and regular stuff man.

Miu sat in our lap during evening TV news, need-reassurancing miu man.

Din-din was meat lasagna from Aldi, ingest Two Guys man.

Movie night was Twins, watch Two Guys man.

Many (2+2) bowls of Costco popcorn were consumed, ingest Two Guys man.

Counting last Two Guys Half-Week, this tallies to Many (2+2+2) bowls, weekly quota in sight man.

No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man.

We shall take bedtime HSM galore, most certainly man.

Mini-B. on Spring Break this week, zzz-in Two Guys man.

Weather supposed to suck for next 2 days, cold front man.

Mandatory visit to Mama T-B. Monday, visit we and possibly wee man man.

Up-catch on accumulated mail & newspapers, up-catch we man.

And that was/is our thrilling Sunday, report we man.

Blower motor for the main floor air handler is presently dead.  Noticed a message on the "smart" thermostat on Saturday.  Tech came yesterday - board on the motor fried.  Had to wait until today to get the part.  Soooo tired of "smart" things.  It's a furnace blower motor...like why does EVERYTHING need a stupid electronic chip?! :ranting:  Needless to say, we had no AC yesterday and have no heat this morning until the HVAC guy arrives with the new one in hand.  I have a little oil filled radiator style heater in my office with me.  My doggo is laying near it.  She runs pretty warm typically, but clearly even she's finding it a bit less than optimal since our windy cold front has rolled in.

if it is any consolation, my boy reported water under the sink today.
it turns out the garbage disposal - a badger 500 (1/2 horsepower) that i put in about 7-8 years ago, has decided to start leaking.   good thing i had the foresight to put cleaning totes (in which i put all the cleaning supplies and so on) under the sink in case i did have any water leaks, as they caught the water dripping and none was able to damage the wood cabinet.
it turns out that badgers are a lower name brand of InSinkErator, the main difference between badger and InSinkErator being the badger is a lower price and with a galvanized chamber (which eventually rusts and then leaks) instead of a stainless steel one.
replacement is a moen 3/4 horsepower "Host Series EX75C" which has a 10 year warranty and a stainless chamber.   price difference between this and another badger 500 - about $30.  i get to swap them out tonight when i get home from doing a swing shift, yay!

We left after 2 hours when a nooser came in, good timing man.

Admired good yardwork, much improved man.

Ministered to expectant miu, treats/dry stuff/wet glop man.
