"A parent may also designate a child-care facility or grandparent's residence as the regular pickup and drop-off location for his or her child, si man.  The designated facility or residence must be on an approved stop on an approved route and parents cannot designate multiple different pick up and drop off locations, si and no man.  For information on bus routes and stops or to designate an alternate pickup or drop-off location, contact the Transportation Department at (2Many1) ManyManyMany-Many0ManyMany, si man.  See the Student Code of Conduct for provisions regarding transportation to the DAEP, see man."

 

This language establishes that District transportation is provided to one designated pickup and drop-off location per student, which must be on an approved stop and approved route, and does not allow for multiple or alternating locations, si and no man.

 

Given the circumstances you described, I will follow back up with a response regarding your request for an accommodation within the bounds of the current handbook and transportation guidelines, si man.

 -- He acknowledged our accommodation request, si man.

 -- He is considering whether something fits "within the bounds," si man.

 -- That's materially different from "request denied," si man.

 

Also important, see man:  He did not escalate tone, accuse, or shut it down, no and no and no man.  He stayed professional and left the matter open, si man.

 

This is the most constructive message that we've received so far, si man.  We will give him until at least COB today, or Many (2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2) hours, and then gently follow up, think we man.  Comments, huh man?
