My mom still gets paper bills and does the maths on the envelope - addition, subtraction, long division - to work out what she needs to pay and when.  Kickin' it old school...despite barely making the Boomer cutoff!

👍 I like your mom's style and I do mostly the same, except for the long division.  BUT it seems I'm older than your mom 😮

Thrilling Monday report, see man:

Did not leave the casa all day, ensconced we man.

Embedded ourself far too late on Sunday night and then couldn't zzz, late and no zzz man.

We perhaps got an hour or two, grouchy we man.

Breakfasted/skoolbused* Mini-B., bye wee man man.

*by the way, radio silence from all skool & transpurtayshun personnel whom we wrote AGAIN, :ranting:  man

Immediately tried Siesta #1, desperate we man.

Siesta failed, :girlwerewolf2xn:  man.

We considered ourself unfit to do tax work, wait for Mama T-B.'s wrath we man.

Worked on nagging issues such as credit-card disputes, nagged we man.

Also dished/de-dished the warsher, domestic we man.

Lunch was 2 turkey sandwiches, ingest we man.

Siesta #2 was eventually undertaken, somewhat successful zzz man.

Mini-B. arrived and demanded a snack, hungry wee man man.

We nuked him a Costco mini-'za, nuke we man.

Din-din was salad + hot dogs, ingest Two Guys man.

This din-din is actually rather intense, see man:

         1.  De-bag shredded lettuce and embowl it, si man

         2. Slice half-tomato for Mini-B., unkindest cut of all man

Many.  Add croutons to both bowls, add man

Many.  Add respective dressings to respective bowls, add man

Many.  Serve/ingest bowls, si man

Many.  De-package Many (2+2) hot dogs, denude the dogs man

Many.  Place dogs in nuke-safe dog-nuker, nuke dogs man

Many.  Separate buns from package, bifurcate buns man

Many.  Place opened buns on separate paper plates, place man

Many.  Pre-add mustard/ketchup to Mini-B.'s and ketchup to ours, pre-add man

Many.  Remove dogs from microwave and fork into buns, proper technique involved man

Many.  Serve/ingest dogs, si man

Many.  Up-wrap remaining half-tomato for use later in Two Guys week, it's a wrap man

Many.  Up-wrap remaining dogs for use later in Two Guys week, Wrap Artist we man

This is more work than for almost any other Two Guys din-din, conclude we man.

Mini-B. didn't want a movie night, oh well man.

Later, attempted to caucus with Mini-B. to pick remaining hyskool courses, deadline soon man.

Mini-B. insisted on texting an amigo (amiga?) and making us repeat ourself, :ranting:  we man.

An argument ensued and skool activity was curtailed, curtail our tail with a carving-knife man.

Hours later, Mini-B. emerged and semi-promised that we'd do this on Tuesday, si man.

We had spent those hours caucusing with ChatGPT to make some sense of the requirements, :girlwerewolf2xn:  man.

No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man.

Must visit Mama T-B. on Tuesday, visit we man.

We will have to lie about progress taxxing, sigh man.

However, Subway coupons might finally be in weekly rainwater newspaper, hope we man.

We will search locally and in Uncle T-B.'s mailroom's recycle cans, search we man.

And that was/is our thrilling Monday, report we man.
