Scintillating Tuesday repartee, yawn man.

-----

Thrilling (?) Tuesday report, see man:

Took HSM but still got ~1 hour of zzz, this must end man.

Breakfasted/skoolbused Mini-B., groggy Two Guys man.

Returned for siesta #1 and actually dozed a little, semi-zzz we man.

As soon as we arose, Mama T-B. called, aysheep senior she man.

She aysheeped about complete hearsay from completely clueless hospice idiots, :ranting: we man.

We called an administratrix at the hospice outfit, engaged/concerned she man.

She will come to Mama T-B.'s facility on Wednesday, caucus with us and berate idiots she man.

This chica and the Nigerian nooser are the only two hospice people worth a poop, conclude and :ranting: we man.

So after this delay of 2 hours, we planned our day, several items man.

Lunch was 2 bagels + margarine, ingest we man.

Then, Uncle T-B. called, aysheep senior he man.

He aysheeped that he was nearly out of one of his blood-pressure pills, aysheep senior he man man.

"I have only Many (2+2+2) of them left and I'll have a heart attack, bye man," :girlwerewolf2xn:  man.

The pharmacy phone line rang twice and then cut off, Many tries and :ranting: we man.

We learned via another source that Many00 pills were Rx'd in Manytember, research we man.

Uncle T-B. should have had far more than just Many pills remaining, cipher we man.

We ran an errand for Mini-B., run we man.

We stopped to feed mini-miu, little orange boy mini-miu man.

Mini-miu was out of food but wasn't hungry, wanted to play man.

We tossed a little fluffy ball at him, toss we man.

Mini-miu grabbed it by mouth, dropped it by some vertical blinds, and batted it all around, loud racket man.

We regretfully had to leave while mini-miu still wanted to play, :( man.

Siesta #2 was a waste even without Uncle T-B.'s two more phone calls, voice-mailed by we man man.

Mini-B. came from skool around when we up-gave on the siesta, quiet wee man man.

We said that we were going to help Uncle T-B., unenthusiastic we man.

We had to answer 2 texts from Uncle T-B.'s amigo to whom he'd complained, :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: we man.

We left for Uncle T-B.'s precisely during skoolzone traffic/speed limits, :girlwerewolf2xn: man.

We'll never fathom why skoolzone speeds remain in effect long after no stoodents are in sight, :ranting: man.

Uncle T-B. had not Many (2+2+2) but instead Many (2x2x2x2) pills left, :girlwerewolf2xn: man.

This was a Many-day ([2x2x2]-day) supply, no need to go aysheep man.  :girlwerewolf2xn:

We went in person to pharmacy, personal we man.

Pharmacy was waiting to get enough pills to fill full Rx, just wait a day or two man.

They gave us enough for another Many (2+2+1) days, their entire inventory man.

We brought these back to Uncle T-B., grateful senior he man man.

On way to casa in home-from-work traffic, stopped at BK, din-din time man.

Din-din was 2 Whoppers* + 2 small fries, ingest Two Guys man.

     *bought WUOC, F$WM

Mama T-B. then called with another aysheep issue, champion worrier senior she man man.

We finally got HOA Property Improvement form completed and sent, of course after hours man.  :ranting:

We applied for a color variance, want brighter than their choices man.

Who knows if they'll approve it, be stuck with boring choices then we man.

Hospice administratrix will visit between Many & Many a.m., almost crack of dawn man.

We are to be there taking copious notes, orders from Mama T-B. man.

Movie night was the penultimate Better Call Saul episode, watch Two Guys man.

Many (2+1) bowls of Costco popcorn were consumed, ingest Two Guys man.

This makes Many (2x2x2 +2) bowls for the week, quota already achieved man.

We saved final episode for Wednesday night, why rush finality man.

Mini-B. actually embedded himself at a reasonable-for-him hour, zzz wee man man.

We see little purpose in embedding ourself, just squirm there in pain man.

No party with the rubias, no cavort we man.

Caucus with hospice and visit with Mama T-B. on Wednesday, obligated we man.

And that was/is our thrilling (?) Tuesday, report we man.

Day 2 of Kid2 being reasonably unwell.  Monday evening, he came downstairs and said he felt dizzy.  He'd already been complaining that he figured he was getting sick.  Told him to go take his temperature.  So, he rooted around, found the thermometer and sure enough, he had a fever.  He was pretty defeated sounding so we were pretty sure yesterday was going to be a write off.  We weren't wrong.  We had to go to work, but he still had the fever in the AM with the added bonus of snotty nose and that good ole truck hit me feeling.  The problem for Kid2 is he won't blow his nose.  I don't know why, but neurodivergent kids have weird hangups and this continues to be his.

So, we get home from work and I go to take something into the kitchen and hear "drip, drip, drip".  Look up and see water dripping from the ceiling.  Ahhh 💩!  Get the ladder, punch a hole, water's coming out.  It's warm.  Ok, so is it a hot water line or something else.  Has to be something else because the water lines in the bathroom right above the sopping wet ceiling come in through the upstairs roof.  Talk to Kid2 - he'd just had a shower but clearly did NOT have the shower curtain in the tub properly.  Wonderful.  So, we made a bigger hole to let the water out and so it can dry.  Luckily, we haven't yet renovated the kitchen/breakfast area and planned to change the roof in there anyway, but yeah... teenagers REALLY forget to insert their brains when unwell.

Anyway, he just got up. Still sounds like #######.  Declared he was too sick yesterday to even consider going on his computer.  Doesn't sound like he will much, if at all, again today.  His old cat doesn't mind.  It just means they lay in bed together and watch TV, which definitely appeases the old fur man.

Oh, I forgot to mention this...it's a chuckle.

Kid1 was visiting from Canadia last week.  It was reading week at her uni.  So, she and her boyfriend were out one afternoon.  Suddenly, I get a call: "emergency!  The car shut off and we can't make it start...it just shakes when we try but I think it's because we ran out of gas! We're stuck in the turning lane, too!"

Ok, an irritated hubs grabs the jerry can and goes on a rescue mission.  Idiot manyagers did run out of gas.  Ironically enough, they were essentially next to a gas station.  But to make the situation even more awesome, the sheriff pulled up behind them and flipped on the ole blueberries and cherries so people knew to go around.  The officer was great but it was just a little salt in the idiot wound.  Hubs got them fueled enough to get the car to the gas station and outta the way.

I asked how in the h-e- double hockey sticks they ran out of gas.  Dummy bf said "I thought we had enough to go get Swig first and then get gas.".  Sweetheart, if the fuel light has been on for a minute, best not worry about a Swig drink first.  The car is thirsty and said feed me...it's the priority.  Guessing the ambiance of the sheriff's presence will have him minding his gas gauge a little more closely.  Kid1 was happy they were here and not up north.  Standing in the cold with no gas = no bueno!

Dad is in rehab. He complains that they make him do things(!!!) for two whole hours! Why it's just horrific. ;) They are good people there. It's clean and safe. But I know he'll go back to his old ways once they discharge him.

Mom got sicker and sicker over last weekend. We rushed her to the big hospital, and someone finally did a CT scan. Now she had just had one a few weeks ago and they didn't find anything. But this radiologist (bless him for being competent) found all sorts of things. Next thing I know I'm being called because Mom is getting an NG tube and being rushed into ICU. Apparently you can just start growing random tissue in your body that just start strangling things. Next day they are rushing her into surgery because nothing they've tried is working, and her bowel will die without being untwisted. Five hour exploratory. Surgeon was brilliant woman, managed to fix everything, but it's a wait and see if the bowel will start working again. She'll likely miss Thanksgiving. For now she still has the tubes in and she *hates* it. They are giving her the good drugs, and she keeps telling me about things that happened two months ago as if it happened today lol.

@yuna628 rough go! Sorry to hear!

That in mind, happy to hear you had competent healthcare for your mum for a change.  I know with your dad, it's been a struggle.  Although your mum being hospitalized is awful, it's probably a good thing that your dad is safely in rehab, even if he has to do (horrific🤭) "things".  Just remind him that rehab is keeping him young 😁.
