Received biometrics appointment for Oct 6.  Apparently they don't have my fingerprints from 3 years ago!?

Apparently, more people are scheduled for biometric appointments. Reusing biometrics was introduced due to COVID. Prior to that, everybody went to do biometrics in person. Seems like the policy is getting reversed back to normal.

Oh how interesting. So there's just the two numbers in the same field essentially? Mine didn't a couple months ago, but the I-751 API updated the same day the N400 was added to my account (I paper filed) so I'm assuming they're also linked now somehow. Hmmm.

They are linked by your A Number.  You have a petition (I-751) and an application (N-400) linked.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
