Details matter but risk, what sort of risk? The process, your past history that could come to light?

Um no, not my past history that is all fine no issues there, just overall is it to risky with staying with life events changes situations, not as such intending to stay but obviously want to be with my gf and overall situation and that

To stay and adjust you need to be married, when did you enter?

VWP is akin to a tourist visa

Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Adjusting from the VWP is riskier than adjusting from a B visa, as you waive your rights when you enter on the VWP so give up your right to review etc. It’s not something I would do unless there was really good reason for it being necessary, but I’m pretty risk averse! 
 

When did you enter and when did you get married?
