Had an IR1 interview Last month 21 July 2025 but interview experience wasn't good. CO asked many questions with confrontation. Despite having strong Evidence like 5 Years into marriage, Chat logs, Pictures together, My wife multiple visits with long stay, residence country spouse visa under me, CO Tone was unsatisfactory even for the 100 % Correct Answers. though some of his question i told him an estimate years from decade ago for which i spoke to him i don't remember the exact date. at the end of the Interview he given me 221g Blue slip to perform AP. After the interview the same i received the email from embassy to submit proof of money transfers we did to each other which i submitted the same day. Case date changed happened twice (Next day after submitting the documents and 2 week after my interview. Now because of his confrontation and unsatisfactory tone i am in stress that may my nervous answers if it can impact case. At the end i even told him that i am nervous now.

Ok with this background info sounds like your interview went fine and they just wanted those money transfer receipts  - I really don't see anything that was bad.

Did they keep your passport?

If you are a Pakistani citizen applying for a US visa, you should be aware of the possibility of administrative processing (AP) after your interview.

Also note Refusal on CEAC site does not mean visa is refused so not to worry

important notices will be Issued or denied

No he returned the passport and given me 221G with nothing written on it and he said he need to do a lot of AP, When i was leaving he called me back and he asked if i need proof of funds from you can you provide me I said Yes, he answered me Perfect. Then the same day i received the email to submit proof of funds which i submitted. I hade 2 case date changes (The next Day of submission and on 7th aug after 2 weeks of interview. before asking me any question he was telling me if you will not tell me truth i will bar you for long, that was making me nervous because of his serious tone. even the answers which was 200% correct he shown dissatisfaction (For example is this your and your wife first marriage and it is actually our first marriage for both and be like are you sure. His tone was even making me feel that if i am answering wrong or right.

The 2 Answers he didn't liked that he asked me when did your wife immigrated to US? i told me him around 2012 (But she traveled to US in 2011) and what is the name of the college of your wife? which i answer that i don't remember because it was too 7-8 years back. which i was not sure of because its too long ago, Another Question he asked did you do your ceremony that i said because it was Covid year. but i did shown him the travel of both and our pictures in egypt.

Sounds like AP

I do understand that For Pakistani nationals they may put in the AP, for which that's fine because i know it will get clear as i know do have a clean record in Dubai since 7 years and also in My Home country before 7 years. the only concern that i feel the way of his  tone of threatening made me nervous that I also expressed to CO in straight words that i am nervous right now. Because whatever my answer was even if its 100 % perfect he was rolling his eyes like i am lying to him and he was keep saying if you will lie you will be going in Long AP or long Bar that made me feel if i am really answering wrong.

Sending money to the USC across the time when she is in her country will make any issue and you said its not a good idea, Actually it was the CO asked me if you send her money, i answered him yes he asked why do you send her i said she is my wife and she felt that my answered isn't brief enough. and yes its not brief enough because i really was nervous.

I see a lot of Non UAE citizens interviewing in Dubai

"LOVES to teach" here on VJ is one / that CO should treat all with respect but they don't always do that

her case is hard one

Did your USC wife make out her tax returns as Married / filing MFS or MFJ?

Did she claim you getting a ITIN?

Have you 2 commingled any assets?

those are things that help a case when coming from a high fraud country

It will be extended AP but all you post sounds good

Best to you both
