Congratulations for the interview.

Are you guys undergoing a 3 or 5 years provision?

Thanks

There's actually 4 possible scenarios:

1) 3 year rule with pending I-751

2) 3 year rule with previously approved / never needed I-751

3) 5 year rule with pending I-751 (yes, these cases exist)

4) 5 year rule without pending I-751 (either I-751 is approved or never needed)

We are under scenario 1) 3 year rule with a pending I-751

The new policy memorandum on GMC is vague.

Questions:

1, What qualifies as habitual violations?

-two traffic violations in a span of a year or two or more or less than a year.

2, What qualifies as community participation?

-how do one prove that?

My opinion its subjective and it depends on the adjudicating officer.

Filed under 3 year provision, however this weekend I reached my 5 years so am hoping I’ll maybe hear something soon. No updates on case since I did my biometrics end of May. I wish there was a way to search timelines of the field offices so we could see what their processing times are like with real life people as it’s hard to search for people going through the same field office as you, especially as we know the estimates aren’t accurate (mine says 2 months til decision at the minute)

Technically, you could switch to 5 year rule by writing a letter and uploading as PDF doc in unsolicited evidence.

Do you have I-751 pending?

No I-751 was not needed, so it’s just the straight N-400, will wait a little longer then may do the letter you suggested. Not in a hurry though, will get processed when it gets processed
