Let's see how long it takes ... though not sure if I should officially be in the May filers thread because it says submitted on May 1, 2025 lol

I need help because I can't figure out how to reach a person to correct my name on the notice.

The paper says to call the number to correct any errors. When I call the number the robot won't let me through and refers me to submit a request online.

When I tried to submit a Typographical error correction request on the web site this message pops up ( Data entry errors : Do not submit an inquiry if you recently filed an application or received a decision. You should receive a receipt notice within 30 days of filing or the decision being finalized.)

I after that tried using the messaging system and it won't let me message anybody either.

What should I do now?

I finally was able to get through to an agent and fixed the issue.

Mine showed 3 weeks until decision on the day of my oath 😃

Initial estimated time was 7 months, but I was done in 3.5.

Let's hope the trend is overshooting the estimated time! lol

I monitored my thread for December filing. I don't know if this trend applies to everybody. About 50% are going faster than expected, but another 50% go slower than the first bunch. All I know is estimate is misleading. It could take longer or faster for N-400.

Hello,

It seems my wife got her appointment quite quickly for the Milwaukee WI office.

Filed: 4/1/2025 online

NOA: 4/3/2025

Biometrics: re-used

Interview: 5/12/2025

I'm a bit nervous, because I won't be able to attend with her.  We have a 4 year old and a 4 month old and my understanding is that we cannot take them to the appointment, so she will have to go without me.  We where not expecting an interview so quickly, and she hasn't started studying for the citizenship test yet.

I was unable to attend with her due to lack of child care, but she was approved. Easy interview, he asked no real questions, he just went over the n400 application. He also wanted to see various documents but she had all of them with her (kids birth certificates , etc).

Oath ceremony will be in July, probably. Due to lack of room, they don’t allow anyone else to attend.

Depends on the officer. Some may be worked up because spouse is absent. Especially with 3 year rule case, and especially if I-751 is pending.

Hello!!

I'm starting a space for April filers since I didn't spot one yet.

I filed on April 1st by mail (entered via fiance visa 2016) and will do my best to update with progress here to help out with info and help us all wait more patiently haha.

Good luck everyone 😊

Is there one for May 2025 yet? I haven't seen one and have questions.

Hmmm I wonder if the slower ones are the ones who may be having the combo interviews (N400 & I751) like mine.
