    I really think that they’re waiting for the check to be cleared before they send out the notice. If for whatever reason the bank rejects the check and they had already sent us the notice, they can’t come back and ask us to send them another fee. Just my two cents. Someone told me that they saw the notice letter a couple of days, after the check has been cleared. My bank account is showing the check is processing. My hope is that tomorrow it will have been processed by tomorrow, and the notice will magically appear in my online account lol

    Which lockbox did you send your app? Mine was received on 4/16 at Tempe lockbox and I got an sms and email notification yesterday. I think the check is still being processed. Until it’s processed and cleared, you won’t see the extension letter in your online account. They will issue the notice only after they have received your money

    Is a receipt notice different from an acceptance notice? Is the latter the extension letter? Do you receive two notices from USCIS then?

    I received an email just now. It gave me a case number and said a receipt or acceptance notice has been sent.

    Have you received a sms or email notification yet? I sent to the Tempe lockbox too and FedEx said USCIS received it on 4/16, but I haven’t heard from them.

    Is it the Tempe lockbox? I wonder if the other lockbox via USPS is processing faster, a couple of people on the thread mentioned Tempe and they seemed/seem to have a slower processing

    Congrats! My app was received by the Tempe lockbox on 4/16 and still haven’t received any text msg. I have an online account number with USCIS. I wonder if the lockbox in the Phoenix location (delivery through USPS) is processing faster.

    Hi everyone, I’ve seen a few posts about verbal approval at the interview and no status update since then. I also read from a few posts that say they waited weeks or months despite the verbal approval that goes along the lines of ‘you will receive your GC within two weeks’ or ‘wait between X number of weeks’. Any one is in a similar situation, especially those in Arizona? how long did it take for you to get the approval notice update online? did anyone receive the green card in the mail without the online status ever getting updated?
