I have a question if you redo entire I-864 form for the interview with a new version of the form also did you include your income next to your USC spouse after receiving EAD? Or they want us to bring your old application without alien spouse income?
What kind of evidence did you include to prove your fiance nonimigrant lawful permanent resident status?

We just got our interview scheduled as well. 9/11 and at the Montgomery office.

Oh, well thats good to hear. Looks like we actually submitted our AOS and EAD a day or 2 before you did.. but you got a quicker NOA, biometrics, EAD, and interview date. Well thats disappointing for us.

I guess since our biometrics were 1 month after yours, our interview will also be 1 month after yours, in October? Hopefully?

Everybody's case is different. Sorry to hear about slowness in your case. Anything under 12 months for AOS is a fair game. Anything above that - you can potentially sue USCIS.

As OldUser said, every case is different.  With that being said, with y'all being in Huntsville, you should be assigned to the same field office in Montgomery. Hopefully, they will show you the same timeliness.

While waiting for interview, we monitored our case status on the https://www.casestatusext.com/. It allows you to see all sorts of statistics. It is worth checking out. It put my mind at ease seeing cases being processed and updated every day. Don't worry too much. :)

I have seen people file a month after me who got their EAD in one month and their green card in three. I have had to wait five months for my EAD and my green card is far in the future....
There is no logic to the processing times, at least not for us. Even some officers from USCIS have mentioned that they have no idea how cases are prioritized. It is useless to predict.

Friends, do you have a list of things you brought to the interview as proof? I'm finishing most of mine and I'm wondering if I can bring more..

Right now I got a lot of pictures, the lease I was added to, shared bank account, marriage certificate, my birth certificate, my vaccination sheet from the medical, a new 864, his birth certificate, my EAD, my SSN card..

I'm waiting for our new lease and the documents that state I was added to his insurance, and I'm thinking WHAT ELSE!! It feels so little?

During my interview, they didn't ask that much just have a copy of I-864 and I-485 since that's what they asked me and other required documents listed in the interview notice. Have birth certificate with translation, passport id, social security card and evidence other than call logs and pictures. Like bills, joint bank account, car insurance, health insurance, lease which had both names. That is all they asked me.

I prepared so much but they barely asked of anything. Don't be nervous.

Ah, so it might be enough already then. I can probably add renters insurance with both our names too, that should be enough.. Phew, that gives me some hope

However, it depends on the case and the officer. Just be aware of what you wrote in your application, because officer said mentioned that many people come to interview and answer opposite of what they answered in the application.

I'll make sure to study what I wrote, and make my husband study too LOL. I wrote the truth, so I don't think I'd say anything different. But it's smart to check over just incase
