Congratulations to the new citizens!
My timeline shows 2 weeks, but of course, it doesn’t really mean anything. I'm no longer anxious about getting the answer; I don't even check the status daily anymore. I just hope to receive the answer within next year—I plan to travel in spring and want to move states.

Good luck to everyone!

ROC VSC mailed 5/7/14

NOA1 5/9

Check cashed 5/14

Biometrics current

RFE dated 12/18

RFE mailed 1/20

Approved 2/2 ! ( letter came from the local office)

Card received 2/17/15 !!!!

The timeline please!

Was it under 3 or 5 years provision?

Hello fellow March filers (and other helpful folks), I submitted online March 4th and Interview completed August 11th. I filed through General Provision (LPR through EB).

I'll post my complete timeline later but I have some questions. After the interview I was given the results sheet (Form N-652) with the boxes checked that I 'passed English and US history and government test' and that my application 'has been recommended for approval'. Which I believe means it's 'technically' approved, as the only other option is 'A decision cannot be made...' I was told there's no same day oath in my FO (Milwaukee), so I'll have to wait, the officer said to wait about 3-6 weeks. My questions:

1. After completing the interview, without same-day oath, will there be any online confirmation that my status is now changed? In other words, is there suppose to be a 'status update' that I'm waiting for, confirming that I indeed have been approved and I am now just waiting for the oath schedule (nothing has come yet).

2. When they mail me the oath schedule, would it be reflected in my online account, like the previous notices? i.e. will it show up when and where the event will take place and I can see the letter online before it arrived in my mailbox?

Appreciate all your help!

1. Yes, you'll move into an "OathCeremonyReady/Scheduled/Notice" status.

2. Yep, you'll get a copy of the letter online too.

Yes, your online account will change....."Oath Scheduled" (or similar ) then the actual oath letter appointment are the final updates, if I remember correctly.  The oath ceremony letter will be in your documents online.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

I applied for Naturalization 6/5/2025, biometrics reused. Didn't find out about Json until a month after . When I checked json updatedAt showed 7/7 but event code still FTAO which apparently was added 6/21. Milestone_days_remaining was in the 50s. There was another updatedAt on 8/8 but no new event code, a few days later progress tab changed from 9 to 10 months and Milestone_days_remaining went from 40s to 70s and time u til next Milestone went from 2 months to 3 months 😢. Still no interview notice.. I am trying to figure out if the updates especially on 8/8 with the progress change meant anything.

This is the March thread, sounds like you want to be in the June thread! Folks here got a few early interviews, but the largest swath of folks have been getting interviews in the last couple weeks, so you likely have a few months to wait. The JSON, and the estimate are all not really showing a timeline of your case. My interview is 3 weeks away, but my timeline is showing 5 months right now. I wouldn't sweat it.
