He's got a plane ticket for the 22, so just a week! And his POE is Houston, TX. Thanks to everyone for all of your support! (L)

01-28-08 - Got married! :) And applied for SSN in married name

02-04-08 - Received SSN

02-08-08 - Sent AOS package off

02-20-08 - Received at the Chicago Lockbox after 12 days!! :( stupid USPS

02-26-08 - NOAs for I-485 and I-765

02-27-08 - Check cashed

03-14-08 - AOS Transfer notice to CSC

03-21-08 - Sent AP (I-131) package off

03-26-08 - Biometrics complete! AOS and AP show up online

04-04-08 - AOS last touched

04-11-08 - NOA for I-131

04-23-08 - EAD card production ordered!

04-24-08 - AP approved!

05-02-08 - AP recieved

07-03-08 - AOS APPROVED!! Card production ordered! Yay!!

Congratulations to Eka & Pyrrhic on your marriage (F) and everyone else on their progress, interview dates and approvals. :dancing: We actually made it, altho at times it seems it would never happen :lol:

We still have to wait for little over 3 weeks before my work allows me to travel to US and a week after that we've scheduled our first wedding (L)

And here's for all of the upcoming interviews :thumbs:

4/9/07 - Mailed 129-f to CSC

4/10/07 - Received at CSC

4/11/07 - NOA1

8/3/07 - NOA2 116 days

8/6/07 - Touch (notice of approval)

8/21 - Sent to NVC (allegedly)

8/25 - 8/29 - Traveled to Ukraine to see my baby!

8/31 - Actually sent to NVC at 6:27pm (I knew that allegedly was appropriate)

9/7 - Received at NVC (finally), case number assigned!!!

9/11 - Sent by NVC to Kiev!

9/24 - Interview set via phonecall

9/25 - Medical Appt - passed!

11/2 - Interview - APPROVED

AOS/EAD/AP Timeline

12/13 - Civil Marriage Ceremony

1/29 - Mailed AOS, EAD, AP

2/4 - NOA1

3/20 - EAD and AP approved

Wow! It's so cool to see so many of us April filers getting through to the end of the journey - Lord knows we've waited long enough!!! I wish you all the very best of luck in your new lifes in the US, and I look forward to seeing you all on the AOS threads!!! :lol:

Our medical is next Weds in the PM, and I just have to fill out one more form for the packet three before I send it back. I'm a bit worried about the strikes though... probably I'll just send it recorded delivery and keep my fingers crossed... actually thinking about it, would the embassy accept recorded delivery? :o

01/25/2008 Married in St. Augustine, FL

02/19/2008 AOS package mailed

09/30/2008 AOS interview - APPROVED!

10/11/2008 Green card in the mail

01/14/2009 Our little girl, Fiona Elizabeth, was born on Jan. 14, 2009 :-)

I sent mine via DHL - lite http://www.dhl.co.uk/publish/gb/en/eshippi...itnow.high.html . I think Royal Mail is still pretty backed up. The Embassy sent out my packet 3 on 5th October and I only just received it today (17th October). I hope that Packet 4 gets delivered a little quicker since I will need that for the interview. Good luck with the medical.

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment

Congratulations to all the April filers that have come to the end of their K1 journey.

My precious fiancé and I filed in April and we are awaiting the NVC to receive our approved petition.

It feels like Canadians filing at CSC are taking the longest.

K1: Flew to the U.S. of A. – January 9th, 2008 (HELLO CHI-TOWN!!! I'm here.)

Tied the knot (legal ceremony, part one) – January 26th, 2008 (kinda spontaneous)

AOS: Mailed V-Day; received February 15th, 2007 – phew!

I-485 application transferred to CSC – March 12th, 2008

Travel/Work approval notices via email – April 23rd, 2008

Green card/residency card: email notice of approval – August 28th, 2008 yippeeeee!!!

Funny-looking card arrives – September 6th, 2008 :)

Mailed request to remove conditions – July 7, 2010

Landed permanent resident approved – August 23rd, 2010

Second funny looking card arrives – August 31st, 2010
