Hello,

I'm very confused, USCIS received my request for evidence on May 14th, however today I received a message stating "Document was returned to USCIS" but there is no status in between, no status mentioning that they sent something. I'm confused? Will my case still be worked as if it is "pending review of RFE"? I reached out to them, and waiting for tier 2 to call me back because the agent wasn't able to assist me. image.thumb.png.38dced7f9b2344ec4bb3fcb719679311.png

USCIS are the ones approving or Rejecting/Refusing the Petition. Reading this it looks to me like they are reviewing the additional evidence you send in.

Give it a bit more time and maybe the case status changes soon to approved :)

I never got an RFE, so im sorry, i cannot tell for sure. But to me this timeline looks like they are still actively working on it.

yea , my worry is that new status that makes no sense doesn't affect their next step. For example, I work with trouble ticket software, and there is a "pending user" step and a "pending agent" step. If this made this a "pending user" step will the agent not know to go in and review the rfe? Just worried. Should I ask to receive this mystery document?

I have not seen a Pakistan case going through Armenia, I assume there is an interesting back story.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I am guessing this is in reference to  April 30, 2024 entry when USPS was not able to deliver something to you, and it was returned to USCIS. They likely resend that document, but it got returned again.

VJ timelines actually matter.

To me, that looks like the case was sent to NVC in error, and then returned to USCIS, but that’s just a guess without more info from you.

I gave pretty much all the info I have. Received RFE, in april, for some reason it was sent back, requested a pdf, sent in the rfe (on may 14th they received) and now I'm waiting and get a random document returned message. I'm concerned that the ball is back in my court, when I'm still waiting for RFE response and they said nothing in regards to if they sent me anything after that (approval, denial, another rfe, etc). I don't know if I should just ignore it or what.

It has to do something with your address. The postman wasn’t able to deliver packet at your letterbox so they returned the packet back to uscis most probably it’s RFE letter

No one that replied in this post read my message including this one lol :(

My address is correct and is pretty normal. The issue is, what document did they receive back that they sent, there is no message stating they sent anything after the rfe, so what got returned to them? Also is my case still being reviewed on their side, or is it back to my side? They received my rfe response, idk what the status is after that.
