Guy Destroys Car As It Gets Repossessed

 

Car repossessions famously can be rather unpredictable.  While some people just hand over the keys and admit defeat after they stop paying for a vehicle, others fly into a rage and genuinely believe the ride they don't technically own is being stolen.  Then there's this car repo video where the guy just destroys the Pontiac Vibe tow truck drivers have been hunting down apparently for quite some time.


The guy who does grab this long overdue, bank-owned hatchback is incredibly relaxed as he rolls in to get his tow boom in place under the front tires of the little Pontiac.  But after he gets the thing in the air, it's obvious the "owner" is still inside and he's not going to give up without a fight.  [...]

Pontiac Vibe.  They haven't made that vehicle since 2009, couldn't be worth much more than $1,000 to $1,500.

That's right.  Hardly worth the repossession effort, and certainly not the destruction.

On a whim, looked up some values for Vibes.  I am seeing $5-6k on KBB, and elsewhere for 2010's with 150k+ miles.  Must be because this was essentially a Toyota vehicle as there is no way I would pay that much for a vehicle that old.

I always like the Pontiac GP’s.  The best Pontiac though was the Pontiac G8.  Phenomenal car.

Quite interesting what is going on in the Vehicle market, seems it is tanking.

 

I need a new ish truck and was looking at the new ones in stock, who would pay that for an F150?

It was either Pontiac or Buick, and for some reason the China market loves Buicks.
