Well boys and girls. My I-485 was finally approved today.

It's a Double blessing today. Today is my birthday and I went for an interview I got approved immediately, before I got home a new card is been produce. Here is my Timeline Marriage base AOS

Finally, I recieved our green card tonight Hallelujah! Glory be to God.   My child name was not properly written, a Y  letter was used instead of U. We going to be travelling out soon.

Guys can someone please help. I got results for my medical exam and I brought to copies to my lawyer. She was checking and told me that those boxes needed to be filled. Hep b hep and ipv doctor did not make any selection. I took it back and nurses were super mean and they kept blaming my lawyer and insisted that there was nothing to do since I already got one doze and it was good to go and doctor already signed. Since I told them to put something they did select insufficient time interval and made doctor sign again. I’m super concerned and I went back to Walgreens  got another tetanus shot and hepatitis b even though I already got one tetanus shot and first dose of hep b2022 and still they didn’t mark completed. The pharmacist told me he can do second dose hep b and an and it should be complete( after 4 years???) what do you recommend? I told my lawyer to not send it yet. I’m thinking to go back to doctor and show the new vaccines that I got and maybe he will put complete? Thank you !:(

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I applied back in 2020 ! I had my first rfe back in 2022 ! I responded to them then my status changed to name been updated! After 700 days ! I checked today another rfe !!! Im soo worried about it ! Dose anyone know what might be ? Or do they will ask me again for more abuse evidence after 4 years ?

What was first RFE about? was that for VAWA?

This is could be anything like good moral character, your birth certificate, good faith marriage, like you said more abuse. I assumed they sent you RFE for abuse proof already. Please just wait for letter to arrive.

The first one was for good moral ! And do you think they will ask for more abouse evidence after 4 years ? And they didn’t ask my for more abuse evidence in the first rfe ! I’m just soo worried about it

Hi Dear VAWA Family!

I remember how this forum helped me tremendously back in 2018 with my VAWA case.

I got a permanent resident card on 09/27/2021, and I believe I should be able to apply for citizenship 3 years after that because I was adjusting status based on a VAWA case, is that correct ?

If so, then I am looking to apply in September this year, right ? Can someone point me in the right direction on this forum to read up information on how do I apply for citizenship after VAWA and what I need to know, etc... !?

they can ask anything. Just wait for letter to arrive. Hopefully it would be something easy. I personally believe it could be about good faith marriage.

yes you can apply after 2 years and 9 months. There is whole section for citizenship on this forum please refer to that section.

If was Good faith marriage it’s apartment lease bank account joint and taxes works right
