I was listening to LBC this morning and they were making a similar argument about the UK. Somebody called in and mentioned what about the large numbers who are unemployed or even larger who are claiming other benefits.

 

Now I am old enough to remember, when this was not an issue, one of my Grandfathers was a Farm Labourer, and when mechanisation was not so prevalent. It does make me wonder what the plan is, after all why would people want to do this if you could work in Walmart and earn more and less stress. Do they not want to better themselves, their children have a better life?

 

I do not know the solution, other than the maybe inevitable collapse of the current system.
