Bombshell DHS sweep in Minneapolis-St. Paul finds 50% of immigrants had committed immigration fraud

 

Nearly half of all immigrants in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Twin Cities were found to have committed some form of immigration fraud during a recent sweep by authorities with the Department of Homeland Security, officials revealed Tuesday.

"Officers encountered blatant marriage fraud, visa overstay, people claiming to work at businesses that can't be found, forged documents, abuse of the H1B visa system, abuse of the F1 visa, and many other discrepancies," US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) director Joseph B. Edlow told reporters Tuesday.

Officials didn't point to a specific group, but the Twin Cities has seen a massive uptick in Somali refugees and immigrants in recent years — with more than 82,000 from the East African country living in Minnesota.  [...]

Anzalduas is one of the newer Tex-Mex bridges, constructed and meant chiefly for industrial traffic (it leads to southwestern Reynosa, an industrial area).  I wasn't aware of routine outbound inspections.  This clown should have requested a lawyer before squealing on himself.

Sidebar:  I was on a 4-day trip with Mrs. T-B. to introduce her to the border cities (about two per day) when we happened to drive past Anzalduas after it had been opened just a couple of days earlier.  We pulled up to the outbound CBP port, where I asked the guy whether anything interesting was across.  He said that it was industrial stuff, but invited us to cross regardless.  I considered our schedule, then told him, "We have all our luggage and stuff, and your colleagues at inbound will probably be eager to conduct inspections, so it might hose our schedule."  He nicely accepted this and told us how to turn around.  I've still never been across that bridge.

Mrs. T-B. enjoyed that trip.  Most notable to her was, "I didn't have to speak a word of English on the U.S. side of those cities."

Also of note:  Without exception, all of the Mexican border cities/towns are larger than their Texas-side counterparts.

Man caught trying to smuggle $1M, guns into Mexico at Anzalduas bridge

A man was arrested Wednesday at the Anzalduas International Bridge after U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers found him attempting to smuggle firearms, ammunition and over $1 million in cash into Mexico.

Cecilio Rojas Jr., a U.S. citizen, was charged with smuggling goods and bulk cash from the U.S., namely approximately $1,033,762, multiple handguns, and "disassembled" rifles and shotguns, according to a criminal complaint.

On that day, Homeland Security Investigations special agents in McAllen received a request for assistance from officers at the port of entry in Mission after conducting an outbound inspection on a white 2019 Chevrolet 3500 with an attached trailer driven by Rojas.  [...]

Trump Admin Announces Free Sombrero Giveaway For First 10,000 Illegals To Self-Deport

Governor Pritzker Activates 100 Battalions Of Illegal Immigrants In War Against ICE

Compromise:  Trump Agrees To Designate Chicago Mayor's House 'ICE-Free Zone'

 

CHICAGO, IL - President Trump has graciously agreed to compromise with Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, allowing for designation of an "ICE-free zone" in the Mayor's house.

With the Mayor determined to create zones where illegal immigrants can escape ICE, Trump announced that illegal immigrants can indeed remain safe from deportation inside Mayor Johnson's house.
