Hi guys, any help or information I’d appreciate it so much.

So I have my I-751 pending but my N-400 already scheduled for an interview March 7th. I’m going to start getting documents ready for the I-751 guessing that I might have a combo interview. Please could you please let me know what documents should I put  together to take with me that day for the interview? And should I do if my interview day comes and didn’t hear anything about the I-751?
Thank you 🙏🏻

We had a combo interview in Dec 2022.  Officer wanted to see evidence of bona fide marriage from date of I-751 to interview date.  I was prepared with bank statements, leases, etc.  He wanted to see evidence of a paper trail showing we were at same addresses....leases, driver's license....

Note:  I was notified only 2 days prior to wife's interview that I was required to be there for the combo interview.

The house and car is only in my wife’s name because she bought it before we meet or got married. If they asked about that on the interview should I say the same thing?

Yeah I think they will do the same with us as well. I keep getting nervous about this every day lol 😆

The interview was easy.  As the officer said "We are here to help your wife become a citizen".  After the I-751 part, I went back to the waiting area.  A little while later the officer escorted my wife back out and said "she passed".

We had the same situation, and we were never asked about it.  All you can do it have the evidence you have, and answer the questions honestly.  When we had the combo interview, the I751 portion was very fast, and all we added were updated tax filings.

Good Luck!

But did you bring the evidence you submitted with the application as well? and for trips together the bookings was on my wife's name is that ok to bring them? because we were not able to put both names.

No.  I took evidence to cover the period starting after filing the initial I-751.  They already had the other evidence.  I think I did take all of our tax returns.

Other than the tax returns and a copy of the I751 package itself, we did not take anything else specific for the I751 (we didn’t even know we were going to have a combo interview until the IO invited me back when she came out for my wife).  However, keep in mind that the N400 instructions request a lot of evidence be brought to the interview, and a lot of that includes showing we were still in a solid marital union, so we did have a lot of current information with us.
