Use turbo tax online software or employ an accountant

So that your question can be placed in the correct forum.. can you please clarify if this tax filing is related a non USC Spouse petition ?

Your tax filing obligations are generally the same wherever in the world you reside. If you work in the U.K. file a 2555 to exclude income. File a 1116 for any tax paid on investment income. File a FinCEN114 and 8938 if thresholds require this. Remember that ISA’s and other HMRC tax free items are taxable to the IRS. TaxAct is an intuitive preparation software if you go it alone.

You've not actually said, but I assume you're asking about your US tax return? Or do you mean your UK one?

Subject says IRS so that would lead me to believe US taxes

I'd assume so too, but worth double checking I thought - would imagine the OP would know how to file US taxes if he's a USC, but if he's only recently moved to the UK, may not know how to do it that side of the pond.
