I'm just starting to fill out the I-130 for bringing my parents to the U.S. I don't know where to start. Help!

Make sure you download the instructions that go with the form (https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-130instr.pdf), and also the info on here (top bar - go to 'guides') and shout with any questions, there's usually always somebody happy to help.

Is it ok to follow this thread?

I filled in December 2023 for Mom and Dad; Doesn't seem as if much members filed in December.

I filed on 12-12-23 and 12-18-23. I received notification for both of them between yesterday and today, that the case is actively being reviewed. Petition is at Texas Service Center.

Delivered on 1/22. Credit card charged on 1/24. NOAs received on 1/30. We did a concurrent filing for AOS along with I-130.

filled it on January 31st of 2024 and received a notification on February 2nd. The case is still being reviewed as of February 7th.

Just need to wait for (hopefully) approval in a year or so. Good luck.

Yes. Processing times are here - https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

 

Your profile/timeline is quite confusing, it seems to be for spouse sponsorship but you’ve posted in a thread about parent sponsorship. And you have both India and Armenia on your profile? Your overall processing time (I-130 is only the first step) will vary depending on those factors.

I know I just saw it too. My apologies, I am filing for my spouse from India. The time line keeps changing automatically to Armenia. I will try to find a right thread to follow.

Ours was received 1/2/24, also crickets.
